    Interesting. Well I seriously doubt you've got 30 hours of playing time which is the minimum break-in period. After that time they sound substantially better and the fit is just starting to be more comfortable.

    I have these and they sound superb. They did put out a update that fixed the pausing problem. The build quality is top notch. I also have the Sennheiser's pxc 550's and the parrot zik's they all have they're strengths but the wilkens sound better to me.....

      Speedsk8r yo man do these get louder than the soney headphones. I have the soney headphones mk2 right now and it's just not doing it for me

    Thanks for the video. Great demo of the ANC capabilities. Glad you mentioned the lack of true passive connection and the break-in period.

    There is reportedly a firmware update to handle some of the issues reported by users, including with the wear sensor. (Source: Head-Fi thread on the PX).

      Mine have the latest firmware and the wear sensor works perfectly for me. I've only had them a day though, lol

    Great review but for that high price , they needed better options, a nice hard shell case, they should fold up and the features be on point in everything ,

      Hmm ever try to store headphones on a plane with a hardcase? The Reviewer didn't even get these broken in which requires at least 30 hours. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD1 and just recently I got a pair of these B&W PX's for my daughter and they sound great, less NC pressure and they're about the same as my HD1's plus they're reasonably stylish. I tried the B&O H9's and they're okay but I didn't buy them, so take it from that...
      Both the Bose and Sony's are plastic and vinyl.
      In any case, good luck!

    Great review with lots of info beyond other reviews! Also, it was fun to watch you walking around Fort Lee and by the GW Bridge. My family lives right near there, but I've never tried walking across the bridge. Perfect test for ANC...

    Great review. I love these. Bowers and Wilkins make some awesome products! Just wish they would up date more often. The PX are by my favourite headphones they just say style and sound amazing in my eyes.

  • @Kevinjandro

    Update.... the headphone's still sound great. What I don't like is the power button it's to small and a little hard to find when on your head. Also if you wear glasses these won't be the headphone's for you. It let's in tons of leakage! They need to change the earcups for sure why in the world didn't they test for leakage for folks who wear glasses....

    • @GMT2019
      @GMT2019 Před 6 lety

      Speedsk8r apart from leakage is there any kind of areas that no good for folks who wear glasses? Actually I don’t mind sound leakage

    According to what you say,
    Is it true that..
    1. Sony can not charge while listening with the cable?
    2. B&W can can charge and listening with the cable both at same time?

  • @mich6425

    I think I'll go for the p7 wireless. I also have the Harman/Kardon BT and they're very nice as well.

      I also have harmak kardon BT, however I believe they sound like 30€ headphones.
      Huge let down.
      Sound was flat and univentful.

      @@Pachoslavus strange, mine sounded full and warm. True harman sound. Also sub bass. But I tried the px, sold it. Sold the p7 wireless and now have the baby p5 wireless for sports. Amazing sound. Bought that online for €85,- have it a year now.

    Perfect review bro! Question...I just bought the Beats Studio3's. Would you pick up the PX's versus the Studio3's? I also mainly listen to house music as I am a house music DJ. Thanks in advance!👍

      Nikolai Törmänen Is the overall volume comparable to the Beats. The louder volume ability is good for me, as I live in Bangkok, and it's much noisier than NYC.

    Nice review! I would like to use my headphones to watch youtube and movies on train and coach rides for example. Does using a wired connection eliminate the latency? Otherwise this is a deal breaker for me

    • @GYMCADDY
      @GYMCADDY  Před 6 lety

      yes, but remember they need to be powered on still. and while I'm at it, when using a wired connection the control buttons on the headphones don't work.

  • @jorgeluisfernandez2560

    Bro between these, v-moda wireless 2 and the ath dsr-9bt which is better in terms of sound quality? I suscribe good review, cheers!

    • @andreaxel3022
      @andreaxel3022 Před 6 lety

      Jorge Luis Fernandez it depends on ure taste, although havent tried the audio technica, the vmoda has a more booming bass but not overpowering, they are so 'fun’ as it sounds what the consumer wants, however px have better soundstage, more flat, and a tighter bass, however the px are not as comfortable as the vmoda, and for vmoda ure better of using the wired connection as it really2 helps the quality

  • @moon_Varcan
    @moon_Varcan Před 6 lety

    bulsh#& review. first of all... these are not made of stainless steel. its special alloy (cant bring the exact name they used). and you can use these with jack or usb-c if your battery dies. and they can be used withiut their inner batery. your smartphone have to be powerfull enough (lg v30 with quad DAC and good Amp for up to 80ohm headphones or other deavice like shanling player or fioo x10 dac). the battery is used only for ANC when connected to jack. and bluetooth sound and microphone quality depends on your smartphone. overall these are best headphones and if compare them with other in their price league these shloud be more expensive. And its possible to get them for even 320$.
