Pull the whip out of the monkey made, put an O-ring at the bottom of the antenna slide it back in and pull the O-ring down right where the whip meets the foundation where the whip goes in it’ll make it watertight

I drilled out the top of my 10K and used a steel whip portion in it from a 102 inch and it shortened it a lot.
How did that workout I'm thinking about buying a 10k
