It’s been almost 4 years since I flushed my oxycodone prescription. I have chronic pain and was prescribed oxycodone for more than 10 years. I’m finally free from the beast. I use other alternatives for my pain. Im so happy I made that choice before something bad happened ❤

I had a doctor that prescribed that too me after my gi-track was giving me problem. Made me feel weird, nauseous dizzy. Made my eyes feel dizzy and nauseous. I didn’t take it after that one. Will never wanna take it again.
A lot of meds don’t work for me. My body is so difficult. But I’m proud of you! If no one told you that! I’m proud of you!!

Prince's doctor was a "yes man" also. Prince OD'ed and was revived just before he died. They landed his plane and had medics waiting. Certainly a sign that he was taking too many meds, hmmm?!
It is crazy how protected doctors are when it comes to malpractice. Any error should be addressed and the dr has to undergo training or such or termination depending on the severity.
I have had multiple relatives die due to doctor mistakes only to be told "it wasn't enough of a mistake"
Did you report to the state medical board? Most states you can look up a doc & see if they’ve ever had board actions. I’m sorry to hear that, and it’s not easy cuz they have the power to make the records on some level to support them unless it’s obvious🤦🏻♀️

@dawnchelle yes. One of them had multiple other complaints. We also retained a lawyer in both instances. One we were able to sue, the other is where we were told it wasn't enough of a mistake. The third we were told they weren't parents and we weren't minors so we couldn't bring a suit against them for some reason (I don't remember 100% honestly, I was young).
@@michelleferrara352 seeing shouldn't be a retirement plan. if an error was done ok but because you had a bad outcome doesn't make it malpractice.
@@michellebarker8940 we didn't sue for money. We did our damndest to ensure it would stick on the doctors record. We didn't want blood money - that doesn't bring people back. Disrespectfully - shove it.
I was seeing a doctor about a condition I was born with. It causes chronic pain. I thought everything was fine until he up and moved several states away overnight. I soon found out everything was NOT fine and he was providing opiates to hundreds of people whether needed or not. I wish I could put his name in here.

@@myraclayton1860 oh no! I’m in Iowa if that helps at all. The real kicker is that there was ANOTHER one busted a couple years later. That one got jail time and lost his medical license. I think he had too many people die of overdosing. One was in a VERY popular band. The guy was literally writing scripts for people out the back door of his office!!!! You should look it up, it’s interesting.

Yeeesss, Dr kavorkian was one of my first introductions into true crime. I hadn’t heard of him until my grandad was in hospital one day and one of his brothers had visited and wrote “Dr Kavorkian” for the assigned doctor on my grandad’s patient information board 😂

It’s insane that doctors can get away with so much. Medical gaslighting is absolutely real and terrible for someone with chronic conditions. Just venting some of my personal feelings😂😭😣
When i was 16 i was working at a gas station and a new supervisor was hired about a month or two after me, he was obviously an alcoholic and would buy and consume alcohol at our store while he was off duty. One day i talked to him while he was intoxicated and he began to tell me of special doctors like the ones of famous people such as elvis and michael jackson. he told me he had a doctor like that and if i ever needed anything i could come to him. he also lived in his truck and used our parking lot like a trailor park😭 needless to say i quit not too long after that.

A minor detail, but JFK had surgery to fuse his spinal column (the vertebrae), not his spinal cord. Fusing a spinal cord would cause major damage and eventually cause paralysis.
My baby sister died from meningitis, my mum took her to doctors knowing she wasn't well and he sent her away saying she was fine with multiple signs he should have apparently known my mum ended up going to the hospital later on by the time my mum got seen at hospital it was to late to save her, it had spread 😢 some doctors shouldn't be doctor's

With the fiasco going on at one of America's biggest pageant organizations at the moment, I would like to suggest a dark history about beauty pageants.

Also I never knew Aretha Franklin Sang Dr. Feelgood. I always grew up knowing it as the Motely Crue song/album after they decided to go sober. I’m not sure if Motely Crue covered the song or they just have similar names/subject matters, but I’ll have to give Aretha’s song a listen.
Literally nobody in motley crew is sober bro, they're not in recovery they never were. That song hadn't nothing to do with sobriety. They've quit using a couple of times for a few months under court orders, but none of them are sober....I'm telling you as a motley fan.....they all very much are no where near sober
This happened to a relative until doc was busted, found guilty and lost his license.

Not really a big deal, but the This Is It tour was actually meant to be a world tour. The first leg of the tour was to start in Londons O2 arena for I believe 50 dates, then was to move to other parts of the world. My friend and I were planning on going to see the tour. After he passed away, I checked the tour schedule and he was to be coming to Australia around mid 2010. So sad that Michael’s no longer here. I don’t think anyone will forget what they were doing the day Michael passed.

I remember that day very vividly. I was sitting on my cousins couch and we literally had just finished talking about him and going to see that tour (ice always said i wanted to see him in person) I believe i was only 16/17 when he passed . And i cried like he was my family. Rest in peace michael

I was given propofol when I got my wisdom teeth taken out and I 10000% understand how MJ was all about it. I was awake the entire time, no pain, loopy and happy AF lol

Best sleep but, docs need to use the meds correctly or things like this will continue to happen to people! It was probably versed. Propofol puts you to sleep. MJ had bad insomnia that’s why he loved propofol so much

Dr.Conrad should still be in prison. If Propofol is administered, an anesthesiologist should be in attendance at all times. Propofol renders a person completely unconscious, unable to move. This is such aggregious malpractice.

You should look into the dark history of Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. I stayed there a few years back and the manager of the B&B I stayed at said there's some really shady things going on with how they run their business and treat the employees.
This was so fascinating! Dr Feelgood by Motley Crue was is all I knew of before this! Never knew just how dark this got! I have recently just finished reading Waris Dirie’s (The renowned Somalian model) novel series and I think it would be so important to see more exposure into the negligent history of FGM if you would consider delving into it

Dr. Murray left the room and Michael Jackson woke up, and was so frustrated because he needed the sleep, he gave himself some more propofol. That is how it happened. So, in essence Dr. Murray should have been in the room with Michael the whole time, and because he left the room for a few minutes, that is what caused Michael's death. So, it was involuntary manslaughter directly caused by negligence. Also, it was illegal for any Dr. to use propofol outside any hospital. This is what many hospitals use to put patients into a medically induced coma.
Um no, he had a vial of propofol inverted in an IV stand. Maybe don’t take the word of the man that killed him.

Nah, even if she did do a dark history on Michael, he was already found innocent in a court of law with TONS of evidence proving his innocence. She’d just show the truth that he is innocent, and it’s the greedy families and people that wanted his money that did this to him because of his fame smh
