Calum, 9 years ago your video with Miguel Valenzuela was uploaded on youtube. A video I’d never know would create such a huge impact in my life. 16 year old me would watch all your videos after school as a pre workout and hit the gym for hours. Your videos would always bring me a smile and would motivate me to push through the shitty days. I’d like to say thank you for being muscular and for being an inspiration to me. God knows why he puts us through these challenges in our lives. At the time they may not make sense but it’ll all come together like a puzzle in the end. The comeback king! Cal, I’ve been a fan of yours since day 1, and the thing I admire the most about you is, that no matter how many times you fall, you get back up and you continue the fight. In a sense, I see myself in you, because I’ve fallen many times before, and I get back up and never look back. God is great brother, continue to live in Christ and don’t look back unless it’s to give yourself props for all you’ve overcome.
Not a Calum fan, never have been. But my hats off to anyone that comes back from the darkness. Calum has helped me so much with my confidence, both in the gym and out, and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have been into training as much as I am today. I used to watch Mad Desire and all the old training videos with THMPSN, Bradley, McGrath etc before gym sessions - some of these sessions were the best in my life so far. Your story really spoke to me. I just started my first workout this week since my Motorcycle accident. Nine surgeries, almost three months in bed, the surgeon’s were amazing, keeping my foot attached. I put on 50 plus pounds I don’t need and to say I was in a dark place is a understatement ( I’m still fighting the dark) but, I have to say I love that you came through and made it to the other side gives me hope

I have no doubt the overall global interest in Classic division gained alot of traction off this mans online success at the time. Authentic, charismatic and a total iron beast when completely focused and still enjoying the process without distaction. Aesthically, the total package that even drew comparisons with Arnold due to insane gentics and charm (Dino has arms but..thats not a tricep, this is a tricep). Cal idk if you’ll read this, I was going thru some sort of depression while I was in college away from home. I had never taken the gym seriously up until 2017 when I decided to join a frat to make friends since I was a loner. I met some decent pple but the biggest gift I received by pledging was opening CZcams one day and looking at videos of your pop up for me when I wanted to get into the gym for the first time. I rememeber it so well, I was budgeting my meals and supplements with the bare minimum but I’d be lying if I didn’t say you changed my life from then onward. You became my physique goals and I am still inspired by you till this day. Thank you for still putting time to give us your story, I wish to meet you one day if God permits. Thank you for saving me and for being there when I needed someone to motivate me. Thank you for being muscular!

Always had a soft spot for Calum ever since I saw him in Generation Iron. He seems genuine but just sort has this sadness that he was somewhat lost, which he talks about. Hoping this turnaround sticks and he can live his life to the fullest away from the professional bodybuilding scene.

Calum has helped me so much with my confidence, both in the gym and out, and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have been into training as much as I am today. I used to watch Mad Desire and all the old training videos with THMPSN, Bradley, McGrath etc before gym sessions - some of these sessions were the best in my life so far. We all suffer set backs, and Calum I am rooting for you so hard brother. Keep fighting and I really hope I can meet you one day!
Calum inspired a generation. Nobody can take that away from him or his successes. Everybody fails in life and faces setbacks. Shows his true character for being able to overcome his obstacles and coming out on top. 🐐

I just started my first workout this week since my Motorcycle accident. Nine surgeries, almost three months in bed, the surgeon’s were amazing, keeping my foot attached. I put on 50 plus pounds I don’t need and to say I was in a dark place is a understatement ( I’m still fighting the dark) but, I have to say I love that you came through and made it to the other side gives me hope

I have no doubt the overall global interest in Classic division gained alot of traction off this mans online success at the time. Authentic, charismatic and a total iron beast when completely focused and still enjoying the process without distaction. Aesthically, the total package that even drew comparisons with Arnold due to insane gentics and charm (Dino has arms but..thats not a tricep, this is a tricep). The infectious energy of Koala freak mania at its height was definelty the start of my fitness journey, and despite all the setbacks and personal adversity youve faced, you continue to inspire, your a true champion mate

Through my teen years, Calum has inspired me to pursue my own fitness journey and now as a young adult, I can truly say he's been one of my biggest motivators to always keep pushing in anything I'm doing, be that the gym, socially or my uni studies. I was going thru some sort of depression while I was in college away from home. I had never taken the gym seriously up until 2017 when I decided to join a frat to make friends since I was a loner. I met some decent pple but the biggest gift I received by pledging was opening CZcams one day and looking at videos of your pop up for me when I wanted to get into the gym for the first time. I rememeber it so well, I was budgeting my meals and supplements with the bare minimum but I’d be lying if I didn’t say you changed my life from then onward. You became my physique goals and I am still inspired by you till this day. Thank you for still putting time to give us your story, I wish to meet you one day if God permits. Thank you for saving me and for being there when I needed someone to motivate me. Thank you for being muscular!

man this guy has had a hell of a life. I was skeptical about his comeback because in his vids he didn't seem genuine or accountable. But this mini doc reminded me of unbroken where he was just humbled and so well spoken. Love to see him like this and I hope he finds even more success in whatever he puts his mind to. You know, I followed Callum early on and I'm settled knowing he's okay. This can happen to anybody and it honestly shocked me how other people responded to his struggles and challenges. I hope he's able to move forward, away from the types that want him to fail.

Always had a soft spot for Calum ever since I saw him in Generation Iron. He seems genuine but just sort has this sadness that he was somewhat lost, which he talks about. Hoping this turnaround sticks and he can live his life to the fullest away from the professional bodybuilding scene.
