Ergon GA3, ODI Troy Lee, ODI Elite Pro. Currently on the GA3 and think they are really nice. I ride heavy on my palms and my hands tend to get fatigued/sore, the GA3 didn't eliminated this but I would say definitely improved. I can ride longer with less discomfort. I really like my ODI Troy Lee lock-ons they are tacky and pretty thin which works well because I have a smaller hand. I think I'll try those Renthal grips from the vid, sound like my kind of grip. Thanks again for another great vid!

Grabbin some Sensus Lites right now. I like the mushroom pattern, thin profile, single clamp and the hard plastic end piece. I'm curious to try the Deathgrips or Deity Knuckledusters next, but the lack of a hard endcap makes me nervous. Loved the feel of ODI Elites but the rubber flange rips very easily when you crash. So many good choices out there, maybe I need more bikes so I can try more grips?

I have yet to find a pair of lock-ons that I don't hate. I'm running Odyssey Cufflinks on my MTB and BMX bikes. If I use a MTB specific grip, it's usually Redmonkey. I've never had issues with throttle grip, and I don't have issues removing and reinstalling normal grips. Not sure if this is actually a "grip" (in anything but name) but I run the TOGS on my XC bike.

Been riding for years on the Ergon GA3 and great for all day, park, and technical trails. My only gripe is the end caps are terrible as they fly off any any little bump, nic or shake off. Just got a pair of DMR death grips as a replacement.

Been riding ESI Chunky's, but will look to try the Wolf Tooth Fat Paw when these wear out.

Agreed with others. GE1’s are more popular than whatever Ergon grips they talked about. I’ve never seen those Ergon GA3’s on a MTB bike. GE1’s are the bomb for any type of MTB’ing. I’ve used ODI Rouges, ESI Chunky’s... and absolutely fell in love with the GE1’s.

Check out Alban Lakata's bike... (he is the marathon world champ). For those types of rides the GA3 grips are perfect. For me, it's the GD1.

Phillip Lewicki totally agree. I tried them without gloves on my last day and I definitely prefer them with thin gloves such as the Yeti Enduro gloves. Still, these grips are so well designed they’ve alleviated my hand fatigue issues while ripping through the chunk.

The Ergon GA3 only just been launched about March of this year, only been available in UK shops since June 2018 i believe.

Running deathgrips and love them. They do wear out a bit quicker, but I don't care lol

Sohaib Younus it's because they have so many different tread patterns all over the place. Certain spots are just inherently going to wear faster than others

doctajuice true, and alsoI went with soft compound version, so it's bound to relatively wear faster. Its cool though, will take that over getting blisters on my hands at the end of the day lol.

Personally, my favorite has always been a pair of Oury grips

Lizard skins danny macaskill. Best grips out there super thin and also stick a little bit to you hands out of the box. If you are looking for thin one side lock ons you really should consider that

Ergon GD1s for me. I really wanted to dig the Deathgrips but I didn’t get on with them at all - they always left my hands feeling beat up. And on the XC bike, ESI Chunkys (very similar to the Fat Paws).
