Honestly, Beats as they are right now have the ability to become even more popular consumer audio products (not audiophile), but their steep price point makes us knock them at all times...
chuckolatte Very true. they sound as good as the 1000x, even with its weaker ANC performance, people may sway towards the beats for just aesthetics. Not a bad product offering. However Sony’s V2 of the 1000x may change that.
Foreal, its about time. I was seriously surprised when he said the Beats are on par with the QC35s and 1000x both on noise cancelling and sound quality.
I just got these a few weeks ago. I was formerly a strong Bose fan but I got these for $120 off and they have been fantastic. Great battery life, good noise cancelling, and great comfort
Alex Dollar bit of a strange one sounds right saying a but his name starts with a vowel so it's technically right. Anyway who cares, grammar nazi!! 😂😂😂
I love it. It took me about 2 weeks for my ears to understand the change in mix from the beats wireless. At first i thought it sounded worse, but now the opposite is true. Trying beats wireless again, I can definitely feel the upgrade with studio
I do agree with that if you have friends I should be able to plug in the aux cable and be able to use them even with them turned off. Be a great feature
I think they're dope. I'm also not 100% on board with the micro USB thing but I understand it considering that when it comes to buying replacement cables, it's easier to find a decent micro USB for cheap than it would be for lighting or USB C.
I'd find it real hard to pick these beats over the bose or sony when they can't be used with cable alone or have as good noise cancellation, especially when they cost just as much as those two. They still look cool tho!
I choose beats cause they’re great when i use it for workout, the headphones stay intact and doesn’t move around when doing certain moves, while the other 2 not a great choice for a gym rats
Silas Estrada imagine saying you like something and then someone else decides “you know what people really love to hear? Something that everyone knows but is irrelevant in the fact that someone just wanted to say what they were thinking”

I have the rose gold YESSSS😍I LOVE THEM if yur thinking about getting this is highly suggest the ear pads kind of feel like memory foam and the battery is absolutely brilliant
I have a collection of headphones like JBL, Senhieser, AKG and would have to say the Beats Studio 3 is on par with them. They are great sounding headphones and comfortable to wear.
I feel like the reason they use micro usb is because everyone (or at least majority of people) have hundreds of them laying around from random things they bought , while as lightning cables are like at least 15$
Hey, I have the beats X and they are really comfortable and the sound quality is awesome. I was wondering how these would compare. I know the profile will be pretty different because they are over ear and not in ear. Thanks
Charlie Murr Try Sony wh-1000xm2 and you will be shocked at the features including high res audio. It also has a cable option and a wireless option and has higher quality than any beats product there i
I own both (last version of studios). The Studios definitely sound better, and better battery life but the fast charging on the Xs come in handy. I definitely prefer the Xs when mobile, but when I want to Jam... it’s Studios time. 🎧
Bodybuilder X no you're not i have the old solo hd and studio from 2013. Im holding on to them like dear life the solos cushion starting to fall off and the studio the audio in the left ear comes and goes but it still works. I don't wanna buy one of these unless i really have to because their quality compared to the dre era is awful plus they're insanely expensive in the 3rd world.
100 % agree with you bro old skool beats had nuff bass you could feel in your ears and they were loud....these new beats are shit....no bass no loudness....total crap they need to go back making beats how they used too.....😎😎
So I went to amazon, and I saw these, and the Sony MDR 1000x. Now, the beats are similar design wise, but the noise cancelling is 80% better, but the comfort, and sound quality is far ahead than the beats. If your going to take a 350$ bath for some headphones, I’d get the 1000x
As a student who probably wouldn't ever dare to spend money on headphones, I just spent 250€. And this wasn't so honest review, bruh... 1) You can't change the ear pads easily. It's not detachable. (If you use makeup, workout or just have oily skin) You should consider that too. 2) The chip, or whatever is inside the headphones that do the sound-cancellation is pretty fragile and upon dropping Studio3 Wireless, it is said to be broken easily. I know I am 1 year off and I doubt anyone read this. I just wanted to give feedback. I do not use even bass so much, because I like to listen to relax and calm music over bass-y music. In doing that, it's great. It's so calm that I almost get lost in my calm mind. Do not take my words for it when reviewing bass because I have never previously compared bass headphones, but I did test them first thing first with a youtube search "bass song" and the bass that these headphones had. It was like the same bass as our car Qashqai 2014 had. It was like I was inside the car listening to it. It was perfect. The small and very quiet bass (vibration) after a BASS, it was 'DOPE'. I do not know if I and my brother picked the best headphones for me among the other good ones. At least now when I spend another 250€ I know what to compare it to. Like you would always love your dog remember to love your headphones.
One more thing about the sound-cancellation. When turned on, it produces a sound what I would call it, the sound of a waterfall from 20 meters away or static sound from old TVs. It's not annoying once you have got used to it. I can't hear it now as I am listening to calm music. I doubt you would hear it once listening to hip hop and atleast full volume on.
@@GoRushABC i just got mine studio 3 and these are just as good as i need these to be but i can say that studio 2 has more bass and are much louder but its not so big thing. Oh, and noise cancelling in studio 2 is way worse than studio 3's its like SSSSHHHHHH! All the time
Only reason why I can't and don't get beats, their shitty prices, who tf is gonna spend 380$ on studios? 250 would be respectable but over $350 is kinda a big stretch for pricing if you ask me
Spending $350 on a pair of headphones is quite common actually. Just ask the people who bought Bose QC35s and Sony MDR-1000Xs. Also, the Studio 3 Wireless is still priced the same as the QC35s and considering the massive improvement I’ve seen and heard from them, they’re finally worthy of their price tag.
Serious review (I've had them for a long time): Pros: They've the best batteri life and Bluetooth range (if you connect with an Apple product). Easy to use, and they connect quick once you've done it once. They sound clear, kinda heavy bass. They let in ambient noise, which is good if you run/walk outside. They're also water/sweat resistent. The fit is really good, comes with multiple eartips and a cover. They also got fast charging 5 min charge = 1 hour playing time. Not really important, but they're a known brand -- so you'll get brand recognition. Cons: They're expensive. ($200). Mine stopped charging after only a month! But I updated them on their website, and they began to work again. The charging cord is really short, so they'll hang if you charge on the wall. Also some might not like that it let's in ambient noise. However it's made for people with an active lifestyle, so not really a con. They're my favorite headphones, but they have under 2 stars review on the beats website, so take that into consideration.
I got these on Christmas day, great headphones. I love them! Perfect anc, nice bass and good sound quality. Would recommend! Great colors as well, I got porcelain rose! 😁
Bryan Salinas yes they are a lot better than studio 3s which i have too solo pros have better noise canceling les weight and overall sound quite a bit better
xXY33TXx i respect your opinion... I’m sticking with the studio though .. the only eres on being I like over ear headphones and they are more comfortable than the. Solo pros
I reviewed mine in matte black. Crazy how different that looks. Now it’s 2020 and it seems like the Studio 3s are still relevant. Apple didn’t update them yet. I thought I give them a try for sports and they worked great. I do have a poll about them on my channel.
I made the change from my audiotechnica M50-X's to some new beats wireless studio3's, and for the most part I'm pretty happy with the switch. I used my headphones for mixing and casual listening, and while the M50s felt like they had a more organic sound, I like the balance between treble and bass on the beats. the fabric on the beats also feels like higher quality, but I can't speak for the whole battery thing. my battery rarely lasts me the day and takes several hours to recharge, whereas my M50s were just regular headphones with a cable. biggest difference is the price, so on a budget I'd say the audiotechnikas are the best bang for your buck, and the beats are more of a luxury package.
Great video. I bought the matte black today and they are my first beats ever. And this video really gives you a great look at all aspects of these headphones.
Why all the hate on Micro USB? I'm a techie and own not ONE THING USB-C. I have half a dozen Micro USB cables of different lengths and only one short USB-C cable that came with my AUKEY power bank that also uses Micro USB. Not one thing that I own or that anyone I know owns is USB-C. I hear that everyone is on USB-C and hear the hate for Micro USB and how it's always a CON, but I just don't see it. Am I alone on this or do most people still use Micro USB?
any improvement over the 2.0s gets a look from me. i tested the solo 3s and they were decent. the purchase by apple was Beats saving grace imo. better audio all around. looking to test the wireless studios
I think i may have found my next pair of over-ear headphones, my current ones have a broken headphone jack and they're not foldable and they don't fit with glasses either, also these have longer battery life
I would like to see them being able to play music with a wired connection so you don't need to use wireless bluetooth. Too many wireless headphones these days.
As an iphone user the W-1 chip is the sole reason I'll probably buy these headphones. Would I rather that Apple had bought Sennheiser than Beats? Every day of the week, but you can't have everything in the world, can perhaps pray that they will licence the use of the W-1 in the future? I don't really like the Beats brand that much, but the convenience of the chip can't be overlooked, damn it.
I found a pair on the ground in its travel case last year. They work good and am using them right now in fact. Only complaint is that the leather came off of the ear pads, only because I would wear them while I sweat. If they could fix that problem then it would be great.
Aman Tech Tips dude don’t say that, you forgot this is the internet, you can’t have opinions epically if it’s anything positive about an apple product. Get ready for all the hate replies
the beats were alright at the apple store but Bose have been working with noise cancellation for years and with the bose you can control your noise cancellation. They are both good headphones. I'm with both
I admire you because you are such a real audiophile listener. You well understand how to separate the range of sound. Regarding to my experience for this pair of headphones, the sound is totally different from the 2nd version like 360degree. Bass is so soft and deep , not punchy. Vocal and high ranges are smooth, sweet , clean , and outstanding. You can obviously hear musical instruments especially for a guitar and saxophone.I recommend you to listen vocal songs or audiophile songs that will make this pair show ultimate performance. I guarantee these are not trash but these are the king in the budget $ 600.
Wait. You really can’t use these without the headphones powered on? That seems so dumb and counter-intuitive. For $350, it’s disappointing. Micro USB? Why? Why not Lightning or USB-C?
this comment is bit late, but the micro usb is included with the beats. Although I would say its definitely irritating to have to charge for the wire. You have to remember in 10 min. you get 3 hours so I think there is an upside there.
I'm gonna buy a new pair of headphones and there are three things that are very important to me. 1: great sound 2: no/minimal sound leakage 3: very comfortable Are the beats studio 3 these things??
mohamad mousavi I bought the beats studio 3 first used them and I did like them but then I got the Bose qc 35 II and the beats got returned quickly they are so much better than the beats and worth the extra 100 bucks
i think that the reason they made it micro USB instead of lighting is because if you are an android user and you want to use beats you shouldn't have to carry a separate cord around, even if your an iPhone user there is a great chance that you carry a micro USB with you anyways with like a portable charger or something. its just to make it more user friendly for everyone not just apple users. If you ask me they should give the the choice between micro and lighting, i cant imagine it would be that hard to pull off.
So an actual compelling Beats product that is a decent value compared to its price range? Finally.

Great video. I bought the matte black today and they are my first beats ever. And this video really gives you a great look at all aspects of these headphones.
i swear those blue ones are really nice

Why all the hate on Micro USB? I'm a techie and own not ONE THING USB-C. I have half a dozen Micro USB cables of different lengths and only one short USB-C cable that came with my AUKEY power bank that also uses Micro USB. Not one thing that I own or that anyone I know owns is USB-C. I hear that everyone is on USB-C and hear the hate for Micro USB and how it's always a CON, but I just don't see it.
Am I alone on this or do most people still use Micro USB?
Bee Highve Drones same
Bee Highve Drones Same for me! Lol
Thanks for the review! Just ordered mine
Thank you for the info. I am going to pick one up and will use it in flight.
What if you have an andriod samsung
Thumbs up dude. Nice review
any improvement over the 2.0s gets a look from me. i tested the solo 3s and they were decent. the purchase by apple was Beats saving grace imo. better audio all around. looking to test the wireless studios
Who else had a beats ad before this video
You got 976,000 unread emails 😱
when I saw that...omg...the anxiety levels....
I think They are dope!
Aman Tech Tips dude don’t say that, you forgot this is the internet, you can’t have opinions epically if it’s anything positive about an apple product. Get ready for all the hate replies
Aman Tech Tips beats are fking trash
there you go
i think you are dumb
why the hate on them still, jud already said they sounded good... but beats are beats, they already have an image.
the beats were alright at the apple store but Bose have been working with noise cancellation for years and with the bose you can control your noise cancellation. They are both good headphones. I'm with both
Literally just came here cuz I was looking at this exact same pair. Thanks... love the channel :)
More than half of the video he talks about everything except the sound quality
Beats 3 vs Beats 2.0?
Giuseppe Petruso yes he needs to do it cuz I got my beats studio 2.0 wireless last yr
I have the 2.0s (wired) and mine has a vibrate issue in the right ear cup. Hopefully the wireless ones fixed that issue
Phenomenal review - Thanks Judner! You're literally the go-to guy when it comes to intelligent, classy Beats, well, anything.
NOPE! lol this is the start of the Dope or Nope series. Awesome😎 God bless Jesus Loves You All peace be with you!
timothy alvarado dope
Never can miss a great upload
I'm gonna buy a new pair of headphones and there are three things that are very important to me.
1: great sound
2: no/minimal sound leakage
3: very comfortable
Are the beats studio 3 these things??
WOAH 975,000 EMAILS?!! 1:54
please compare sony wh-1000xm2 vs bose qc35 II vs beats studio 3 in all catagories thanks😁
mohamad mousavi I bought the beats studio 3 first used them and I did like them but then I got the Bose qc 35 II and the beats got returned quickly they are so much better than the beats and worth the extra 100 bucks
i think that the reason they made it micro USB instead of lighting is because if you are an android user and you want to use beats you shouldn't have to carry a separate cord around, even if your an iPhone user there is a great chance that you carry a micro USB with you anyways with like a portable charger or something. its just to make it more user friendly for everyone not just apple users. If you ask me they should give the the choice between micro and lighting, i cant imagine it would be that hard to pull off.
I love those red cherry ones but my brother bought both of us the beats. The color is shadow gray
