I am so glad my mom dragged me to see Hall & Oates maybe 14 years ago? I hadn't realized how many hits they had! I knew most of the songs they played but didn't know the band haha they're great!! Daryl Hall has a CZcams show called Daryl's House, where he invites different artists to his home for food and jam sessions. Cee Lo did a great job with I Can't Go For That. Reactors tend to love it!

I love you guys. I\ll be 70 this summer. I grew up with the music of the 60', 70's. 80's... I only attended 2 concerts in my life. Hall and Oates was the only concert I bought tickets for. You should listen to SHE'S GONE next. (studio recording)

You recently did a reaction of Hall with Joe Walsh. This duo, Hall&Oates, is very famous and has many hits.
Hall and Oats had a ton of great hits during the eightIes. My wife and I saw them perform at an outdoor amphitheater and it was a beautiful evening. I wish we had done more concerts like that.
In my opinion the studio version is a lot better because it gives it a 70s soft rock sound. This live version sounds like a Vegas Lounge Act

Daryl Hall & John Oates continue the Blue-Eyed Soul music tradition. One of most successful duets in music history.
My wife named our first Daughter after this song. I originally thought she meant the song Sarah from Jefferson Starship, which is also awesome, but totally a different vibe. Darryl has one of the single best soulful voices you will ever hear and if it weren't for the Righteous Brothers, I'd say the term "Blue Eyed Soul" was because of him. The "official" version is very cool, and you should listen to that, but these live versions allow the entire band to explore other ways to express the beauty of this song and the depth of their instruments.
Others have said it, but I will say it too: Please listen to the studio (original) version. It is just PERFECT!
Hey, you two! Thank you ever so much for heeding my request so soon. Yes, I am the one (despite having a Japanese avatar;). I am glad you liked them and hope you will explore more of their music which is fantastic, among them "I can't go for that", "One on one" (also a sexy one), "Rich girl", and others. They did what you call blue-eyed soul and were very successful in the 80s. They fell out in the end, but that doesn't change what they are and what they have achieved. Daryl is the blonde singer and John the man with the Ferrari shirt who also has a great voice.

THIS is precisely why Daryl CONTINUES to be successful. The live versions were (and still are) EQUAL if not better than the recorded versions. I prefer the TRUE AND RAW versions from true talents. Great reaction once again from you lovely folks.

Lead singer, Daryl Hall's mother was a music teacher and I'd say she taught him well! I agree, She's Gone is a must hear. These guys had hit after hit for like 10 years back then. Not a bad song anywhere!
