Just now added it to my wishlist on the eshop... I'll wait a bit before I buy this one from your sale video. My backlog is crazy long trying to keep up on all 3 platforms. Thnx so much for all these videos !!!

A gripe I have with games like these is that sometimes the background art gets too noisy for my liking; I'd get lost between the foreground and background and won't know if there is a wall there or if it's just part of the background art
Great review. Good game this one, straight up old school, and I like that, it's not using special effects that can only be done now. It could straight up run on a snes or megadrive.

I just finished Cyber Shadow and was thinking about trying this one next. I love Ninja Games and I'm glad they're finally making a comeback. I've beaten the entire nes Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, All the sega Shinobi's and even Hagane on the snes. This looks like a mix of Hagane and Shinobi 3 so i'm pretty souped to try it
I had a good time with it. Big nostalgia vibe. I LOVE chiptune, but It was cool to have a more modern music ost this time for an hommage. Perhaps a bit too easy and short for my taste but a fun ride for sure!
After blazing chrome i want to check out anything this team does. It’s surprising that nes batman still hasn’t been topped with this type of game in terms of control and level design.
It has a nice aesthetic and looks like a fun game to play if you don't want to sink hours into a game. Nice weekend type of game. I'm going to wishlist it for now

The thought of some people only playing retro style games on the current powerful consoles is so funny to me - like imagine buying a PC with high specs to play solitaire 😅
Their games rock, normally when developing retro style games devs tend to lean back and enjoy the lower standards back in the day to minimize the work they have to do, but the devs for Vengeful Guardian apply a ton of expensive modern standards for animation and hitboxes for example and especially frames and framerates, making their games stand out like gems.

Been playing it since you mentioned it in new releases but I genuinely cannot complete more than 2 of the levels, as a really casual gamer im finding it far more stressful than fun! still trying but yeah 😂
A lot of the time they end up getting a physical release down the road. One of the reasons i tend to wait a year minimum to pick up these games. I would have loved to have blazing chrome physical but it released way after and I’m not paying a company twice for the same product.

It's weird I never really played Classics like these Growing Up more now than back when they came out. I am like stuck in this weird space 🌌.
