It's funny to me that no one seems to mention, this was Lester's plan. This was literally why he sent you on those missions, to manipulate the stock market so that he could get a massive return on investment. Imagine how absurdly rich he is after all the years of scheming like this, especially with what's likely a near infinitely large investment pool. He probably has enough money to become a world power at this point.

There's no way in hell I'd redo the game. I had to replay gta iv once after Xbox360 hard drive corrupted somehow and I cried through it all and it only takes a quarter of the time to beat that game compared to V.

This still works in 2021, but the profit margins have been lowered to stay away from the 2.1B hard limit. You'll still end up with enough funds to buy everything and have a large (~$500M) investment portfolio across all three characters. It kinda depends on how many planes/cars you buy and crash 10 minutes later. The Lester missions are the real Big Score.

2. Before killing 4 jurors invest in debonaire ( wait until middle or evening of the next day and then sell )
3. dump money into redwood ( wait 2 days then sell )
4. invest in ifruit and then do next mission ( after doing it , immediately sell the shares )
5. buy facade shares after selling the ifruit shares then sleep for a day or two until the shares are around 30 bucks )
6. do the bus assassination then wait a short while for the vapid shares to go downhill and buy them, wait for a day or two until it’s 100% return
7. before doing the last assassination dump money into GoldCoast shares ( wait a day or two until 80-90% return on investment)

@unmaskedgaming2025 Because each character has exclusive businesses and Michael has a passion for films unlike Frank and Trevor.
If you choose option C at the end, right after you complete it and you get the money from the big score, dump it all into Augury Insurance. Sleep a couple of times (2-3 times worked for me) and you'll get 100% return, doubling your money from the last heist. This will allow you to start doing these assassination missions with 80 million instead of 40. This way you'll be able to reach the 2.1 billion even if the trades are shittier now

There's an important step not mentioned in here, right after you complete the game, put all of your money into AUG stock, that will double your money to over 80 mil before you do any of the assassination missions.

FYI rockstar nerfed the stock market assassinations for next gen consoles. You can only make 1.7 billion.
Multi-Target Assassination:
DEB - takes 3-4 days, return cap is 62-70%
RWC - takes 2-3 days, return cap is 300-340%
Vice Assassination:
FRT - takes 2-3 days, return cap is 20-25%
FAC - takes 4-5 days, return cap is 30-33%
Bus Assassination:
VAP - takes 7-12 days, return cap is 90-100%
Construction Assassination:
GCD - takes 3-5 days, return cap is 44-55%
Takes lots of saving and quitting and reloading.
3 characters combined you can make 1.7 billion

So if anyone is trying this now. It still works. You just have to sleep a lot more often. For whatever reason, rockstar nerfed the return rates per day. Just keep sleeping and it will eventually hit the amount you're looking for

Don’t forget the random encounter on the northwest highway where you save the girl and bring her to the airport. Do this after all the rest and you get a stock tip from her netting you another 100% return

I always choose the 'Deathwish' option and don't really care what would happen if I chose the other two.

for anyone still using this, its outdated and you will only get such results on 360/ps3 old releases, just do what he says and sleep for like a week until its as high as possible, save a lot to make sure u are getting the best return, you should end up with around 850-900 million which isnt as cool as 2.1 billion but its not like u could spend it all if u even tried
You can still invest after getting that amount of money and get to 2.1 billion
For me fruit facade and vapid were all in the single digit dollar range for some reason and it took like a month in game for red wood to go back up
A little tip igs, Michael sleeps for 6 hours, Franklin sleeps for 8, and Trevor sleeps for 12 hours. so if you really want to skip time just sleep as Trevor

You don't even have to save the game, just switch to Trevor he sleeps 12 hours and just press button for going to sleep but you don't necessary need to save, just press cancel

This is great help but over the years all the numbers have changed. You will get a return but not as high and what used to take one day in game day now might take 5 or more days. Still worth the wait 👍

2024 here and they severely nerfed the stock prices compared to what they are in this video. Facade was $470 a share in this video but on ps5 it’s only $6 and only dropped to $4 after the assassination

Even in 2023 this works, you do make a little bit less money and the prices are different but you still get enough to buy everything you would ever want!
