Fire Opal AND a rare variety of gem Feldspar with not only colors of orange, red, and green in them, but also literal pieces of copper in them along with adularescence effect. I am so glad to find you. 'Sorry it took your post about the fire to do it. My family (both sides) come from Lakeview. I was born there too. Lamb ranch west of town and the Hawk ranch out on the west side. Anyway, I made a purchase from you all today. Praying for all of you out there!!
Hiya Troy, well you out did your self on this video, this one is the best one yet. I have some of the chocolate opals from Opal Hill in California, but it's not as awesome as the stones you have. The Fire Opals your digging up is so beautiful. The pink you started with is so beautiful too. I'm glad to see your doing so well. I live in Cajun Country in Louisiana, I started following you on Facebook a long time ago, I shared the hell out of your post way back when, you first started. My name is Glynn, I truly hope you have a great New Year, keep up the awesome videos, I'll never get tired watching them, so I hope you and your family and workers have a blessed, and the greatest day. We know it has to be worth something, or else you wouldn't have invested so much. Throw us watchers a bone - how much is this stuff worth per carat on the open market?

Please excuse my ignorance. These stones are gorgeous, but...They don't seem to have the color flashes of black opal, Mexican fire opal, or even some common opals. What qualifies them as opals? This video was beautiful and very well done. What did I learn? I shall not mine my own opals. I shall leave it to experts with strong backs and excellent stamina. Thank you.🪨♊💎♊
Thank you for your comments. This opal does not have play of color but is named fire opal because it ranges in color from yellow to red/orange. This material has been lab tested and certified as opal. It is hard work getting the opal out of basalt. Take care! ❤️😊👍🏻⚒
Please include a little geologic history of what fire opal is and how it's formed. Thanks
