The Jake Origin Story: I grew up with glasses, 5.00 diopter high myopia, and yet today have 20/20 natural eyesight. No surgery, no glasses, I figured out how myopia actually works and how to reverse it (and no, not eye exercises!) The mainstream tells you it's impossible - but the whole concept that myopia is an illness, is complete unscientific nonsense (a 100 billion dollar a year profitable nonsense, though).

Nice motivation, well done Joonas
It is almost 20/20
That is brilliant! -2 is about where I am at (just, ish). Oh goodness, I so can't wait to be able to not wear glasses during the day that sometimes I get a bit breathless with my excitement. Very motivating and inspiring. Well done, Joonas! I hope you are loving where you are at, even if you are on a bit of a plateau.
*Me too 😭 but due to lockdown im stuck to close up work im afraid that i might increase my diopter*

@@aditirajbhar7228 Not here to shamelessly plug, but I have been making videos about keeping up with EndMyopia while in lockdown, working at home from screens. Maybe something will help? Here is one, starting from the bit that may be relevant... czcams.com/video/yR_DqnI14KE/video.html
How to decrease myopia
Well done, keep up the good work
Great interview - really insightful!
Thanks for the video Jake :)
Appreciate all people who shared their stories , but his is the most straightforward and clear ....
so inspire to watch these videos. I learn that outdoor time is so important in improving eye sight.
It is very encouraging to see others who are successful and who have had the same struggles. These videos have immense value. Thank you!
Did u improve your vision with active focus?
I've been working on my vision since 2018. It's improved a lot, but I'm getting quite a bit of double vision now. Still, it's much much better than it was.
How much Dioptres did u reduce
I ve made the same journey, started at -1,75 right eye and -1,50 left one and - after a year currently I am wearing no glasses but using plus lenses for almost all close up work or reading. But not more than 60 % of my close up time. In the evening I use -0,75 glassas for TV. it s perfect.. thank you jake :)
*Bro im same position like you right now can u tell me that u were using plus lenses from your beginning for close up work and what was your prescription for plus lenses*
+2 for iphone or book, computer screen is far enough so I don t use plus for it.
@@aditirajbhar7228 did you practice active focus? Did it help? Pls tell :-)

I was doing active focus today and I just thought if minus lenses make the myopia worse, plus lenses should push it the opposite way. I have a magnifying glass...which is just a bigger plus lense and I held it to my eyes and things were blurred but when I relaxed and did the active focus and then removed the glass I saw nice improvement....was amazing. I'll try it again tomorrow. Someone else try this and let me know please.
How has it been going for u so far? What are the changes u seen
Does this really work? It’s hard to believe, I have about -2 vision. Seems too good to be true
Hello men, im also intrested in that topic. But a lot of peoples get improve of their eyesight so i think its cant be fake. Im probalby starting improving tomorrow. I hope it works. Good luck for you (and me) :D
@@ins1de964 did it work? Please tell please :-)
Did it work?
just try it, it won't get your eyes worse
Hi Jack, I am new here. My short sightedness first started with my right eye not being able to see clearly in the distance. At first it was a bit blur but it increased more and more and now it has reached a limit where I cant see anything in distance when I hold book in my hands and move it away to limit my arms can. The blur exceeds until I cant see anything. On thr other hand my left eye is on the same journey, I feel it. It has started go get worsen. In fear I gave up on mobile phones and dont use them much. When I try to find active focus, I struggle alot indoing it, coz in distance that my left eye is able to see my right eye is not. If i try the book method the same thing heppens. Plzz what should I do. Do you know.
Did active focus help?
I have roughly -2.00 diopter myopia. I am a student, a lot of closeup work and nearly 2-3 hrs on computer and screens. I need to go back to 20/20 vision and the deadline is 1 year. So are there any extra suggestions tthat would help me??
Take a break every 20 minutes - every 20 minutes, look into the distance for 60 seconds. It can be annoying to do because it feels like you keep being interrupted, but it is very important to do, and so worth it. Stops you ciliary muscle from getting cramped up - if it is cramped up, you won't be able to make progress.
Same story here. Take brakes. I noticed my eyesight get better when I don't use the computer in bad light for example near dawn. You need the best light possible. Move your desk near your window. I also made cycling a habit - I listen to podcasts while cycling for 1 hour minimum at 15:00 when it's the brightest outside. ALWAYS be on the active focus and the most important thing that kept me from improving in the first 2 months - DONT GET BLUR ADAPTATION. Always wear your glasses when something is too blurry to AF (unless the glasses give 20/20 at that distance. I have only 1 pair of glasses and I'm undercorrected by -1 so to get out of blur I used to instead of looking in my room without sunlight and everything is blurry - I used to AF in front of my computer with maximum brightness white background and black text and it got me out of blur adaptation because before that I was looking in my room and everything was super blurry (at low light) and I just ignored that.
Railway ki tayari chal rahi he??
I'm confused. So what do you actually mean by don't get blur adaption?
@@stefanSS1480 did you use plus lenses for close up activity?
