I was crew in the Double-handed Farallones Race in a Catalina 30, "Friday's Eagle" (PHRF 185), back in the 90's.
We flew the kite on the return downwind leg. That was something!
The Farallones race can be a wild ride, and especially double handed!
Excellent boat name
Amazing
I can’t believe this speed !
Thanks for watching our video!
I was thinking about the next one …. ⛵️⛵️⛵️
@@jeromebouyssou5199 Working on a new video as we speak! Hoping to have it done and out in the next few days.
What a fun video to watch. Wow, 20 knots.
It was one of my favorite days of sailing ever :) Thanks again for watching and stopping by!
Good film! Great boat, good sailing. Thanks for the boats name, it's right up there with Cirrhosis of the river!
That would be a great name for our dinghy if we ever get one! Thanks for watching!
As they say its the journey not the destination - 20 Knts wow
It's especially all about the journey if we're not in 1st place! On the other hand it's all about the race when we're in 1st. Funny how that works isn't it? :)
@@PsychoTillerSailing Oh yes , Covering the second guy on that last run gets the blood going
Hi Jim. Nice video! Condor was the fastest mono but corrected to 3rd. We also lost tons of time in the wind hole in front of GG. BTW, as only we turned at the rock we did bear away set (A3) and jibe
06:05:51 vs 06:47:11 but you have 30 sec better corrected time. czcams.com/video/aF9FSBVzg1A/video.html
Thanks Alex. Nice job to you and team Condor, that boat is a rocket!
