@@Hemi5Slow I don’t use the watch much for anything other than occasional texting and calling, as well as activity tracking and a lot of workouts. W 85% battery health I get through the day with about 10-15% left.
I am pretty sure it’ll last that long.
Yes, not easy to drop $600 Canadian on a new series 8 when it’s an incremental improvement on my series 4. Glad I got the 4 at the time, hard to believe there’s been so little improvement since then
I have the Series 4. I’ve owned it since it was launched in 2018 and I’m very happy with it. I didn’t upgrade in these years because I think it wasn’t worth it… and probably this year isn’t too, but I want the features that accumulated throughout these 4 years. And the ultra is not for me.
Got a refurbished Series 4 for fitness tracking, it does what I need it to and I got it for a good price so I’m not gonna be upgrading any time soon.
I’ve had the standard aluminium series 4 since 2018, and it’s held up remarkably well considering I’ve banged it against may doors and walls, fallen over wearing it more than once over the years 😅 and been swimming with it probably hundreds of times. It still works like new.
The newer features look cool with the later models but considering it still supports the latest watchOS and snappy speed and even stuff not on the SE like ECG which is handy for people like me who have had some issues and take medications for heart stuff.
It connects great with the latest 14 pro max, but I guess the nice to haves such as oxygen, temperature and an always on bigger display have their plus points but I think ill wait a while before upgrading at least I can be careless with my existing watch as I would be nervous about scratching a new one 😅
Got curious and searched for a review. Have had my Series 4 since it came out and it's still in perfect condition and performance ❤
Same here I got my wife the ultra and was impressed at all after I messed around with it. Theirs no difference other thanks and an on screen keyboard in text app
Just bought a new band for my Apple Watch Series 4 a few weeks back. Still working well and doing pretty much everything I need so I'll likely pass on the Series 8. Great video though to help me contemplate. I'll likely hold off on a new one until I can get all day/night battery and actually sleep track. Thanks again for the great video! I had my Apple Watch Series 4 since 2018, but I shattered the screen this week and got the series 8. I haven’t seen to much of a difference other than the screen. But I am very happy with how well my series 4 held up with all the abuse it went through

Bought my Series 4 on launch day and ir’s been holding up 5 years now…up until 2 months ago when the battery started acting up and dying in less than 2 hrs of minimal use. Was hoping it would last till the Series X launches next year but oh well. 🤷🏻♀️
owned a series 4 44mm with cellular when it launched and i still use it. i can definitely tell it’s starting to slow down and the battery is at 85% and sometimes doesn’t get me through the whole day anymore but i’m waiting for the next processor to come before i upgrade

I bought mine off a friend for only 100 AUD, that is so cheap, it's amazing and is so fast and holds up very well, especially with battery life

@@MNIU_ apple series 4 and SE are not the same. SE was sold alongside the series 5, which was pretty much the series 5 without ecg sensor and always on display. i’m looking at an upgrade so if you’re interested lmk
