"Dire Wolf" by The Grateful Dead
It's spooky October -- my favorite time of the year! You can expect a few songs this month about monsters and ghosts. Aaand we'll be rebooting the ol' Haunted Library livestream at the end of the month for good measure as well: www.crowdcast.io/e/hauntedlib...
But for now, we're kicking it all off with this tune about a murderous dire wolf from the timbers of Fennario. Originally by The Grateful Dead, written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter.

Cripes, She nailed it. The whole oddness of the Dead, music inverted, perfectly captured. Lyrical, nonsensical, batty: Toni is a genuine sort of wonder.

Rosie and I live about three miles from a venue that hosted the Dead for many years (Alpine Valley). We built our house on a few acres at another ski hill in the county.
