Thank. You.
you have a talent in teching
Any plans on giving an overview of the other states of matter? Like Bose-einstein condensate and liquid crystal?
would it "matter" to you
my teacher discussed for 2 hours not that good discussion this one is discussed in 4 minutes = remarkable results
Why my professor straight up gave this up as homework.
Good teaching gets the point across quickly and efficiently using both verbage and imagery, and this guy hits that nail right on the head.
lol right
Why you have 105 subscribe
YES, infact i agree that this is relatable
This is who I'm talking about tomorrow when I take my chemistry test and say "Jesus take the wheel."
😂😂😂😂
Clever 😆
wait is this DarkViperAU reference?
underrated comment
I think I want to go to college one day, been terrified of school since high school but this kind of stuff has become so interesting to me that I want to learn as much as I can. Thanks Dave, for making me feel like I have a place to start working towards that
Funny username lol
I know right chemistry is so interesting I’m thinking of majoring in it when I start college
I'm totally cheering you on! If you want to go back to college, I believe you can do it. It's the want and the drive that will help you successfully get through. Good luck on your journey!
I hope there's an alternate universe where every teacher explains like you. Thank you btw
LOL. Same here.
what if he got fired huh
what's even the point of the public education system when you have Professor Dave Explains
you mean Chemistry Jesus?
Exactly
my teacher couldn't make me understand in 5 lessons, you did it in 4 minutes.
Yeet
😅
I already love you Professor Dave.
Doctor Phil no homo right?
ima big fan Dr
Doctor Phil ewwwww you’re gross
@@urgrunklenathan23 homophobic much?
Me too! You know what matter is in case I don't!
Summarized the whole unit in a 4 minute video. Real MVP
He didn't mention plasma (4th state of matter), but great video otherwise
i don't want to confuse chemistry students! plasma will be discussed in the upcoming astronomy course.
Professor Dave you are amazing. This is the fifth + video I’ve watched on pure substance and mixtures and is the one that has explained the process most clearly and simply. Many blessings and thanks.
You have teached me more in 4 minutes and 15 seconds than my teachers can in 1 hour. This was very interesting.
Hi i've opted for bsc in psychology for my undergrad and we have biochemistry there. My classes starts from August so i wanted to prepare a bit as it would be new area for me. So from your video on introduction to biochemistry i landed here as I don't know much about chemistry like truly my knowledge is very less. Will update after completing all the general chemistry videos about how much i progressed! Wish me luck!!
Good luck and I await your update !
How is it going so far stranger?
thank you for this video! I learned a lot at 1:05AM.
Ahhh i cant believe that i just found out about this channel now! This has already been amazing and i love it instantly! :)
POV: you’re probably here from your teacher
YES LOL
howd you know HAHAHA
:)
No I came here cause I’m bored
Yess😂
Professor Dave: "Water is not an element."
Aristotle: TRIGGERED!
thank you for always saving me before class/tests. I had to watch this 3 times to get it but I'm confident I understand it now
Very easy to understand. Thank you, Professor Dave!
In college I started watching your videos for physics help, and was like what is this goofy nonesense? Now I’m graduated and back for the fun of it, and I nearly dance to that jingle!
Chemistry is not hard.....some people just don't now how to teach it
i owe you my entire life. i’m in ap everything at a college level as a sophomore & i can’t get past basic science. bless you, sir. bless you.
Mans explained the states of matter, physical and chemical change, and elements and compounds and mixtures in JUST 4 MINS, when my teacher would take about week just finish at least 2 of those lessons
great job man, didn't take too much time AT ALL and i understood , thanks so much
honestly I am surprised how much I enjoyed the opening
Been watching this for class at nearly 1 AM but it's very easy to understand if you really focus because this guy explains it very easily. Thanks man!
I love this! At first I was like, well that's not very long to learn stuff, but after I watched it I realized it was perfect! I have a mild learning disorder, I think quickly but often don't retain things well or comprehend them enough to learn right away the first time. This is just enough but not too short to get the point and not long and drawn out so that people lose their attention like when I'm rambling on haha! I never understood chemistry in school but always found it interesting. Now that I'm older maybe I can with your videos!
What kinda learning disablity?
This course is going to be invaluable for my Health Science.

The outro music makes it so worth it to watch till the end. I learn and I get to vibe 😄
Thank you!
I like your explanation very much
I love you Professor Dave
Thanks!
The particles in a solid DO move. They can vibrate where as liquid can vibrate and rotate and a gas can vibrate rotate and translate. The ONLY time when particles would be described as NOT moving is absolute zero (0 Kelvin) which Kelvin used extrapolation to find. It has not been proved to be real but all available data supports it. No hate whatsoever just wanted to put that out there.
yep, it's a bit of an oversimplification. better to let students learn about vibrational states later on and at first just say that they have no motion with respect to one another to get across the concept of lattice structure.
This really helps me with my science homework.
Yeah, and one day you'll finally graduate and run just as fast as your older brother....if not quicker
Your explanation is very good. Please make a playlist on electromagnetism and electricity too.
i've got a few of those in my classical physics playlist!
thanks professor!
For every day of school I ever wagged - I watch a Professor Dave Explains video.
ik im 9years late, but i have a huge chemistry exam coming up and you rlly helped me dude, thanks!
Chemistry is life. Thanks.
10/10 helpful with my school work
Thank you👍
💞❤️Thanks sir ur all lecture's are very nifty 💞❤️ .
Sir I am class 11 student and I have opted (Physics chemistry and biology )
Do recommend me any best channel for physics' and biology .
I only found this channel today and i don't regret it :))
this video helps alot :)
My teacher won't teach so this is super helpful! Thank you Prof. Dave!!! You're my grade-saver!!!!!!
i😂😂😅😅😆😆 cant really concentrate because i always play your intro over and over again it makes me smile job well done
thank you man
I learned easy from you,sir.
Instead of reading thick book I would instead turn to your videos...precise and very clear.
Thanks much and more power!
Wow I actually got the practice problem correct. Although I had to have Google tell me what the heck "ferments" means. I was completely clueless on that. Love the lesson I am practicing for my Chemistry Test tomorrow. Man college is tough.
Thank u made under stand the lesson
thanks professor dave!

hi Dave
Hello...first of all thank you so much for that amazing explanation... just one question plz ...what is the difference between the molecule and the compound?
Compounds are made up of molecule. As a element is made up of atom, a molecule is made up of different atoms which can be either molecule of element or molecule of compound
I saw 200k views and 150 comments so I thought on doing a comment in my science class in 7 grade I got a 26 out of 40 in my test and failed on the mixtures and compounds questions and have to do a retake so this may help pray for me guys
Did you do well
@@raiden6607 uh its been like 2 years but i think my teacher just did another method where we had to explain the answers we got inncorrect since kids weren’t showing up to after school tutoring
this video is so helpfull thank you professer dave explainsa 😍
