- A 360-degree hyperlapse of the drive from Paynetown SRA in Indiana to Bloomington, IN, passing through the 10th-street/Bypass area and Indiana University.
Filmed in two parts with an Insta360 One R. The first part is 4k video, the second uses the timelapse function, with 1 photo taken every second.
Nice! I just came across your channel looking for splat/nerf resources and caught this old video. I just tried something similar with a drive from LA to SF I did 2 weeks ago but blended all the frames to create an "hdr"/ blur effect with time lapse software I've been writing which works with png/exrs. Has come in handy quite a bit with nerf/splat/ other new rendering techniques that don't yet have native motion blur features, so I smooth it out by rendering 30-240x as many frames as are necessary to fake the motion blur. I posted the result of my drive yesterday on my channel if you want to check it out. Happy to share my tools if you have any interest, they're written in python so a bit slower than is ideal, but still does the trick. I'll be open sourcing everything eventually but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Just watched your video and subscribed - very cool! What software were you using? I have not been happy with the insta360 timelapse settings.
@MatthewBrennan I used their software but also used ffmpeg to get all frames and a python script to combine them. Davinci resolve for color grading.
