In this compilation I show you 7 viral Insta360 X3 ideas for 2023 which will impress your viewers. The Insta360 X3 is the best 360-cam the market currently has to offer. Large ½” Sensors, super crisp image Quality, SloMo 360-video ability, 8K timelapse, waterproof und much more! Get your Insta360 X3 Gimbal Guru Deal with the link above and benefit from extra accessories.
Dynamic SloMo Shots
With the latest Insta360 X3 firmware update, you can now record 360 slow motion videos up to 100fps. This gives you the possibility to create epic 360 SloMo recordings. By reframing the 360 SloMo videos in post-processing, you can generate breath-taking slow-motion Shots that you have never seen before. There are no limits to creativity here. Try it out for yourself and create your own dynamic SloMo videos with the Insta360 X3.
Mouth POV Shots
You want to record POV Shots quickly without using any accessories? Creating POV Shots have never been easier. Just put your Insta360 X3 in your mouth and point the perspective forward in post-processing. Depending on your preference, you can adjust the field of view wider or closer. Or adjust the angle of view further down or more straight. You have total control in post-production. This way you can create your own stunning POV Shots. And here's an extra trick: Combine the different POV Shots, for example with a clap transition.
Bird’s Eye View Crane Shot
The Bird’s Eye View Crane Shot looks like it was created with a drone, because from the bird’s eye view no other person or support equipment is visible. But that’s not how it is, let me show you. To create the bird’s eye view effect, mount your Insta360 X3 on a very long selfie stick. I would recommend you the Insta360 Extended Edition Selfie Stick. You can extend it up to 3m. The longer the selfie stick, the better the bird’s eye view effect will look. Place yourself next to the object or person you want to capture from a bird's eye view and slowly move the Insta360 X3 down. Then move the camera back to reveal the landscape. Try it out and create your own Insta360 X3 Bird’s Eye View Crane Shot!
Ground Rotation Transition
The Ground Rotation Transition is simple, but spectacular! Just move your Insta360 X3 towards the ground on an extended selfie stick. Find another location and move the Insta360 X3 from the ground to the top. You can generate the transition in post-processing by changing the rotation angle from 0 to 180°. Exactly at the 180° of the first clip you set a cut and change the rotation angle from 180° to 0° at the second clip. This results in a seamless "ground rotation transition". Very easy but a great transition for your Travel films.
Locked on Stabilization Effect
The "Locked on Stabilization Effect" is ideal in combination with a 360-camera. Since a 360-degree camera always films the complete environment, a specific object can always be tracked and fixed.
The good thing is, the image does not have to be cropped as in the case with a "Standard camera". The image section must simply be shifted by reframing. This allows tracking without any loss of quality.
Get creative and track anything you like. For example, you can create Hyperlapses and always fix a certain object in the center. Another idea is to track a fast-moving object and fix it in the center of the image. This gives you the well-known "locked on stabilization effect".
Sky Rotation Transition
The "Sky Rotation Transition" is a creative transition where you can switch from one landscape to another. Create the first Shot where you have an open environment. Make sure the sky is freely visible. The second Shot should look similar. Reframe the first clip so that the horizon is rotated from 0 to 180°. For the second clip, it must be the other way around. The horizon should initially be upside down and rotated from 180° to 0°. By masking and blending the two Shots together you get the “Sky Rotation Transition”.
Jump Transition
The last viral Insta360 X3 idea is the Jump Transition. To do this, a person simply need to walk along and then jump. You follow the person with your Insta360 X3 and also perform the up and down movement during the jump. In the second shot you start with the jump. Pull the camera down to the ground and then slowly lift it up and perform a smooth movement. In post-processing, add a cut to the first shot, just before the person hits the ground. And your Jump Transition is ready!

Well done you are one of the only people that show how post production is done and even better you even touch on premiere PLEASE do more post production training when you are able
Man, that jump transition. Very similar to old school teleport effects without the ripple. I remember spending HOURS to make that in adobe after effects like 10-15yrs ago.. lmao.
The advances in tech and vid editing last 20 years is so incredible!
I just got my insta x3 2 days ago, I cant wait to try some of these out!!!
Thanks so much for your advices and tips. Perfect when you just got the X3 !!!!
Thanks for the tutorial. I hope you will also do one for solo travellers as most of the shots here require a 2nd person. Thank you again!
Zum Thema 360er Kameras einer der besten Kanäle. Echt super.
Totally agree, great job and sincerely thanks for sharing your ideas.
So glad I stumbled across your channel. I love how detailed you go into how you’re making your shots very beautifully and well done I’m sharing.
Hallo - immer wieder toll bei Dir auf dem Kanal vorbei zuschauen. Alles Gute für Dich 2023!
Besten Gruß André
Great ideas to make even more great videos with the X3! Where do you have the soundeffects from? ...e.g. for the transitions?
Bonjour, toujours de bons conseils et d’excellentes idées . Merci et une très bonne et heureuse année 2023
Hello, always good advice and great ideas. Thank you and a very happy new year 2023
You're my hero when it comes to 360 cameras❤️👌👌
Absolutely amazing as always!!!!
This is amazing ! All the things I have been doing wrong with my X3 shots, now fixed. Thanks !
Nice moves! My X3 should arrive here in a couple of days. I can't wait to work/play with this new gadget and try some of these techniques.
Thanks for the tips...love it
01:54 Man I'm with you, I hate winter either! 😄
great .. nice sharing .. thanks bro
Just got the X3 last week
This video was super helpful :)
Thanks :)
Subbed :)
SUPER USEFUL!!!
The ground rotation clips, Question, Do you have the 360 horizontal or vertical? great video!
Wow this will be a great help on the effects/transition of my travel video using my X3.
Thanks so much! May I know what transition do you use for ground rotation? thanks!
Love your creativity!
I am trying to get one rs twin edition for myself and the prime purse is for recording my hikes in 360. What accessories would you suggest? Also is it preferable over X3 for this purpose?
Super creative!
Pretty cool ideas and great video showcasing these creative ways to use the Insta360 X3 ✌ Personally, I'm a little torn about getting this camera, the quality is not that great if you view the video on a 4K 32" monitor. Sure, it's perfectly fine for Instagram or shorts but i don't really make videos for these platforms only. Shooting 360 footage with all the cool effects you can easily get is really tempting but i think i will stay with my GoPros for the time being.
U only live ones. Get it!!
Finally, someone that says it.
I also think that the quality is pretty bad.
4K seems more like 720p right ?
This camera will never be your primary one, and yes sometimes footage resolution looks not that great but boy oh boy possibilities are endless and I am still learning partiality thanks to artists like Gimbal Guru!
Awesome. Really Really good. Tks
great lessons man, I'll try them on x4
its cool. thank you
Incrediblly!!!
Can the sky transition be done in the insta360 studio app? (Masking and putting together?) or is that adobe/da vinci etc?
Great tutorial video. Thank you. It would be nice if you show us with Davinci Resolve instead of Adobe since most of us beginners don't use Adobe.
Gracias
Saludos desde Costa Rica
Thank you for the vidéo (Merci pour la vidéo)
Great tips thanks very much
Schöni Ufnahme 💪
Wonderfull, tks for video!!
I wanted to like 2x

Nice Swiss footage :)
Thanks for the ideas bro
bravo nel montaggio e anche l'idea del progetto realizzato 😉 saluti Francesco
Nice work. Where is the tower in the water? That you used for tracking shot. Cheers and thank you.
That was nicccce
Superb work
Thanks so much
One of best video tutoril
What do you recommend to reduce the noise on the edges of the video? I recently used it on a hike and "everything" I recorded has too much noise in the image. thanks
Love your work. Can you do more tutorial on the app. How to edit your videos, especially a longer video in to may short ones
Great job
Thank your lesson
looking forward to this really struggling atm
Nice video
I'm flying to the himalayas for a month of trekking and climbing & this is my camera of choice for my trip!
I hope to get some amazing shots it 🙏
thanks you
Thank you
2023 here we go 💪👍
Happy new year🎉🎊🎇
Hi, do you have an in-depth tutorial for your sky transition?
Did you know why it only can export 1920x1080 from 5.7k? And what to do for better quality export.
Clicked on the video cause the thumbnail looks like a hike in Switzerland imma going to do this September
Super 💕
Saludos desde Argentina
Super helpful, I am going to use this on my DJ travelling🎉 Chanel
nice
cool
Is the Ground Rotation Transition possible with the iOS App? Or i need a PC?
ah you were in luzern/switzerland ❤️
Hi, can this software and workflow be done with theta 360 camera ( i already have)
It will be nice if you could do a video using the 360 app for the phone instead of the studio.
Hi, great video, i like it.
how do you put the videos together like in the sky rotation transition? I this a Insta360-Story feature?
How?
@@hackdaniels4151 yes, how. Can that all be done with the insta360 Software?
Bro big supporter from Nepal #Ronitjung vlog
Dude, nice video, good tips, as a thank you I have one tip for you: Use a De-Esser
Great video. But we really need the insta360 studio software extended to edit multiple clips and with all the shotlab features. A Phone is way too difficult for all the editing
I'm sure they will add this feature soon
correct, he shows that this can all be done very simply in the insta 360 studio, but this is not possible at all, it seems to me false information
@@koensloof yea I think he went to adobe to combine both clips then used insta360 studio to do the -180 rotation but what do I know im a noob, davinci is out my league, I get intimated
They partner with premiere so unlikely. It is annoying using other 360 software, or switching to a regular editor to edit the framed clips you take
guys, the principles of film apply to actioncams aswell. you could just learn film, cut and postp. instead of those halfhearted "10 GIMBAL/ CAM WHATEVER IDEAS"! It's simply film and there is technique, psychological effects and deeper reasons for applying those in your videos. learn them the right way
Absolutely Amazing!!!
Great imagination
lindas ideas pero editar es trabajoso, en el app tmb se puede editar asi?
Can all the editing be done with a smartphone like S22 ULTRA? As i dont carry laptop on my trips usually..
2:46 Titan Mode :)
how do you insert a different clip again?? I lost it! at 8:20 need help! thanks!
to do the clap you need an editing program? the insta360 studio doesnt allow you to combine 2 vids??
also 0n the rotation how did you combine 2 clips for the rotation?
You can on your phone. Or on pc you edit the clips in another editor
Is it possible to stitch two 360 videos? How can we achieve it?
Your 6 idea:
I didn't get how to combine both footages at the same time. Would you kindly to explain a little bit.
And thank you for ideas and showing how to make it in insta360 studio.
Gibt’s diese Erklärungen noch auf deutsch?
If I dont care about the crop factor, Can I shoot normal 4k video without any distortion?
Awesome! Speechless. Incredible creatively amazing.
Insta360 Studio currently only renders one clip at a time in 360. How can I edit multiple video clips and render them as 360 video? please help me.
Love your Videos. I would like to give you feedback on one point. You don’t have to always say insta 360 x3. For the viewer it gets very repetitive. Maybe switch it up and say camera or another word from time to time.
WOOOOOOOOOOOW AWESOME AMAZING SUPERB MAGICAL SUPERB TOP
Is adobe after effects free?
you're a legend, thank you
hello everything is fine? I'm from Brazil and I liked your youtube channel. I would love for you to provide subtitles in Portuguese.
Did you rename the Insta360 Studio 2022 shortcut name to 2023 yourself?
10:40 I guess you better show how you masked 2 videos. Seems it is not a feature of Insta360 software
well done indeed, i wish you could have skipped on that music...to loud & to interfering
i keep reading about rendering making the quality bad? how is your quality so good?
I wish we can do all this with the phone app
how do you cut and paste two shots together
