These will be forever missed......
I never seen this bus in person but this video was uploaded before i was born
The driver is a beast. didn't let up on that pedal with that turn
DDS50G- B400R6 powertrain!? Sweet! Sounds exactly like LA's New Flyer buses
Man I miss this gen of busses.
Ever since I rode 915, I've been all over these New Flyers, damn they're sweet... Problem is I gotta go to Brooklyn to ride them...
That backfire!
i wish there were more C40LFs here... we are getting more, but they won't have the Series 50 in them.. damn bummer..
that bus sounds like a orion 5. nice job!
I was born in 2009 never seen those buses
@jlb62983 that would make sense. the newer C40LFRs in Vegas have wider rear and front doors. i believe..
well it did pick up some of the passengers. But when it was coming to the terminal, it was speeding to the terminal @_@
It's a good thing they don't have the Detroit Series 50 in them, they are junk when used with CNG. We fought with the CNG for 5 yrs, they spent more time in the shop than on the road. Finally, they got sold to State College, Pa, where their entire fleet is CNG. The NF coaches ride and drive nicely though.
Straight 50?
@Caitsith810 is the reason the rear doors are wider than normal, b/c that's where the wheelchair ramp is located???
this one doesnt sound as hydraulic-ie as the one in the Orion VII
they've had them for a while..
i agree with u on that
do the NFs and the Orions use the same turbo?
@Transit411
Not really. Just different make/model of axles, exterior mirrors (for the driver), and paint job.
MARTA's New Flyers have MAN axles; NYCT's have Meritor (which are awesome).
and why do these turbos sound different than the ones on the Orion VIIs? dont they all use the same turbo?
what exactly does that do?
You mean B68.
yeah, i thought the same..
yeah i meant that. Sorry @_@. Thanks
0:06 next bus please to b68 windsor terr/Pachard drive
whats that sound at 0:14? the screeching sort of sound..
brownbrownson The backfire
What are the chances of them bringing the CNG's to Manhattan?
7 years later now I hope that happens
@@eagbplayz851 Nah they keeping those CNGs buses such as C40LFs and Xn60 CNG in the Bronx and Brooklyn
NF=New Flyer.. sorry
