Bee-Line's units sound better than the MTAs. In fact, they sound like they could be governed higher.
Every agency is governed higher than MTA's. MTA's is mostly at 40 with some governed higher. They're also the same spec.

I never cared for this Greyhound livery. It makes the buses look old and worn. The greyhound painted on it always reminded me of graffiti for some reason. Nice bus though, I like the older MCI coaches.
Muni also has colored bullets and letters. Its J line is also brown like MTA’s J train.

@jadenmuniz8817 You really missed the point. I said that the middle axles of the electric buses allows them to operate better in snow compared to the diesels. Obviously we'll still need to use 40-foot buses to replace the diesels.

Mistake in the title
It helps to actually watch the video and read the description. That train is the hard shell in the front and the soft shell in the back.

Great video. I had no idea that these buses are retiring and being replaced by newer New Flyer XN60 Xcelsior CNG's and they are only 11 years old.
I'm glad you were able to get videos of the Los Angles Metro buses. It sucks that you were not able to get videos of the 2000-2004 NABI 40LFW CNG's and the 2001 New Flyer C40LF CNG's with Detroit Diesel Series 50G engines and Allison B400R transmissions when they were still in service, although some of them were repowered with Cummins Westport ISL-G engines with other units in those series of buses retained thier Detroit Diesel Series 50G engines.

Fun fact as of April 10th, 2024, the NovaBus LFSA 1200 has officially been retired, making this the FIRST novabus to enter retirement.
1205 is technically the first one. Retired due to fire damage.

Omg I used to love those Grumman buses! I remember that model first came out and the GMC ones came out at the same time in 81. I walkways told my dad, up like the Grumman ones better!😂when I was a kid 😊 , nice footage. Love the vintage buses!
