    You just can't go wrong choosing one of these. LOVE IT and I'd have that in a flash! - I think once you drive this, the Rangies will be the second choice of vehicle. Hell, there may now be a fight as to who gets the keys to this first! - These old 'Cruisers have road presence and is an intimidating vehicle when yer sat in traffic. As for 4x4 reliability and capability, you just can't beat Japanese. - There was an advert for the Toyota back in the 1980s, printed in _National Geographic_ magazine: _“If you want to go into the Australian Outback, take a Land Rover. But if you want to come back again, take a Land Cruiser''_

    Ahh - now...having got 10 mins into the video, we are looking underneath and I say _''that explains why the wheel is in the back and not underneath. There is no cradle or tyre chain''._ Erm...did I mention that I like this car? LOL!! (Sorry, can't call it a truck where I'm from. A truck is something that pulls a 40ft trailer (tractor unit)

    Think you'll find that the spare wheel won't fit in the cradle underneath with that oversize tyre on - hence why many folk sling 'em in the back. Sort of another reason I'm not a fat of chunky-monkey tyres. If yer on expedition, you need all the interior space, and that rear takes up a LOT of space! You don't really want to carry it on the roof rack either, as it upsets the handling and yer centre of gravity/tipping over angle. Other than that, did I say I like it? Well: I do! A *LOT!* 250 thousand miles?? PSHHH! That's just past the running in stage. Sort the leaks and sod the paintwork (won't run any better for shiny paint) and you'll have a car that'll easily do another 250k. My choice of Land Cruiser would have to be the FJ45 pick up. (Nom Nom Nom springs to mind!) Sadly the wallet will never allow it (not in my lifetime anyway!) - Look after yerself. All the best. Dogue.

      @ludwigseeley6359  Před 3 lety

      Yeah I was thinking of making a tire carrier on the back! Probably the only reasonable solution. And the fj45 pickup is a beauty! But like you say, they are kind of expensive haha 🤪

    Hmmm: It's been a while since your last -confession- video My Son. I hope you and your family are all well? S'kinda concerning when people just disappear or go quiet all-of-asudden. Again, hoping things are all ok your side. If not, I'm letting you know that we're thinking about you and wishing you all the best. (S'ok, not after a reply or personal details of maybe what's happening...but just that you (or someone close) can read this and tell you that there's folk out there in CZcams Land that DO give a shit about certain people!!) Regards. Dogue.

      Thank you for caring! Everything is well, since my last video I went back to school so I have juste been extremely busy with studies and the truck broke down pretty badly (broken torque converter plate) and now it broke down again just this morning. Somehow I sheared all 4 bolts holding the flex plate to the motor.. I have been filming but never get the time to edit anything! 😩
