I love how they added the Oompa Loompa flute 🪈 and the theme

While this twink looks like he's just in different mood for each role, the core is the same. But I do like him in Bones and all, little bit better than his other roles

The first trailer was magical and made me excited. Now I’m more so nervous. I’d still watch it just so I know how it goes but now I’m not so pumped.

Johnny Depp may have disappeared in the 2005 Burton film, but not playing Willy Wonka. Watch that movie again, he's less playing Wonka and more some demented hodgepodge of the MadTV character Stuart Larkin by way of 2000s Michael Jackson.

It looks better than the 2005 Burton film, I'll give it that. I kind of get the same vibe as that 2006 Charlotte's Web movie where it'll be okay if not particularly exceptional.

There is an extension called "Return CZcams Dislike".
Basically the api endpoint for dislikes is still active but youtube by default doesn't render them anymore.
So you can still view dislikes with this extension. Unless the creator disables dislikes (as you could still do before they removed the dislike).
So even though only people who are tech savy can still view the dislikes, they still decided to disable them for this movie trailer. Shows how unconfident they are in the trailer/movie. And they are right to be, its bad.

I am no getting ahead of myself but I can already tell this film while decent looking will like Mary Poppins Returns never top the original.
Emily Blunt and Timonthee Chalamet will never EVER beat Julie Andrews & Gene Wilder.

OK it's a prequel but it still won't be as magical as the original.

Size wise he's book accurate.
Looks decently good but Timothee is still a miscast. He is trying so hard to be quirky in this so it's appearing unnatural. It's just not in him to be Wonka. I don't know how they're also going to play out giving him empathic and kind backstory leading to the book's story where he is just capitalist that doesn't care to what it does to other people even his worker's conditions.
