- Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between. Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional realm over which several demigods rule. It was previously ruled over by the immortal Queen Marika, who acted as keeper of the Elden Ring, a powerful force that manifested itself as the physical concept of order.
When Marika shattered the Elden Ring and disappeared, her demigod children began fighting over pieces of the Ring in an event called The Shattering. Each demigod has a shard of the Ring called a Great Rune, which corrupts them with power. In the game, the player character is a Tarnished, one of a group of exiles from the Lands Between who are summoned back after the Shattering. The player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

A vast world where open fields with a variety of situations and huge dungeons with complex and three-dimensional designs are seamlessly conn9ected. As you explore, the joy of discovering unknown and overwhelming threats await you, leading to a high sense of accomplishment.

In addition to customizing the appearance of your character, you can freely combine the weapons, armor, and magic that you equip. You can develop your character according to your play style, such as increasing your muscle strength to become a strong warrior, or mastering magic.

that scream noise on your second duelist summon is how my first character sounded unfortunately and it was absolutely miserable getting destroyed by late game bosses and hearing that every 5-10 seconds.
i also constantly miss sword swings on horse back so don’t feel bad lol. I have about 200 hours in.
