*edit* I wanted to praise their spectacular performance and their GORGEOUS STAGE btw... their sets are such a fantasy 🥺... all the little details I missed during this performance deserve way more attention but tbh, I was so scatterbrained while this was on and I was trying so hard to keep it together... I don't want my emotions to take away from this huge achievement of bts performing at the granny's but i also don't wanna downplay how a majority of us were feeling so conflicted with our emotions today. All this while battling the tired/EXHAUSTED feeling of waiting and waiting and waiting hours for BTS to perform AT THE VERY END OF THE SHOW- AS ALWAYS. It's not our fault for feeling upset and disappointed and pissed off by this- armys have been feeling torn apart and feeling USED as an audience view count for the scrammys & other music shows just for ratings... man, it just hurts. So pls allow yourself & others to feel all these raw emotions as they come & go and gently remind yourself that this is what makes BTS so humble and this is why we become so much STRONGER year after year with each new battle. I ended this video kinda down but I hope u know I'm just going through it and I'll be fine tomorrow. It's just an emotion so let me feel SAD when I'm sad and let me be happy when the sun rises back up again. I'm just BUMMED. That's all. But I'm happy too, you know? I think I can safely assume that if you told 2019 BTS that 2021 BTS was going to be nominated and perform at the grammys, they'd think you're crazy. Our boys deserved that award, and seeing Yoongi say they will work harder broke my heart too, cause they don´t need to work harder, all armys want is for them to be happy witth our without that award. The scammys did them so dirty i don´t think army will ever forget the way the used them to hold to the views and although i had some hope of them winning i knew their chances were slim and i was very angry and sad when the category was annouced but i held on because i knew they were preforming anda that was the main reason i was watching the show, and i was so happy i stayed up until 4am (because of time difference) to see them they were perfect as always and i felt better and then it was so cute when they went live after (and had more views than the show´s average) to talk to us. The fact that the Grammy's put a performance as amazing as BTS at the end proves that the Grammy's needed BTS, not the other way around. Usually one of the biggest or newest artists is first to open the show. Them not getting that award was a dirty, vicious pack of lies from the pits of hell! They unequivocally deserved it. But I'm not surprised. The Grammy's have been snubbing minority artists from the 1950s all the way up until Beyonce became too big.
I so understand their desire for a Grammy, as artists and musicians I'm sure it's everyone's goal if they get airplay in America. But BTS is so much bigger than the Grammy's. They are changing the music industry and truly made history tonight. And we'll make sure they know that.
