Congratulations!! Little advice from a soon to be getting married lol definitely take your time! We took about 1year and 8 months and it was perfect, I’m getting married in November and I feel so happy and relaxed and we were able to really enjoy being engaged, and saved us so much stress, we are having a destination wedding but I feel like even for a regular wedding is best to take your time, and Alisha is right, you will change your mind if you plan too far in advanced and yes to getting one of those planners with important dates like how far in advanced to pick each thing ❤❤❤❤

It's sad but realistically in socal you need to start planning for your wedding now. We started in the beginning of the year for our 2024 wedding and a lot of venues are already booked out, a lot of photographers and florists are already booked out. It's crazy out here

My now fiancé and I were in Paris and I told him I wanted it to happen in Paris. So I knew it was gonna happen there, but there was one night where we were going out and I got all dressed up etc and we were on the train otw to the Eiffel Tower and he tells me that he didn’t bring the ring and I GOT SO MAD and we were sitting there waiting for the lights to sparkle for 2 hours and I was so mad and then I stood up to take pics of the sparkly Eiffel Tower and I turn around and he’s on one knee and I burst into tears

The guy I was with at the time - - planned a cruise, and had a feeling when we went on this cruise he was going to propose, but i did not know what day or when it was going to be. My friend Allie told me to pack something nice for a day - - He was so grouchy for 3 days before it happen. Little did I know, his best friend had the ring so I could not find it. But his friend was not able to get on the cruise. So his friend let his luggage get on the cruise ship, so Chris could have the ring. Now I know why he was so grouchy the few day's while we were on the cruise. Sadly it didn't work out, but it's still a funny memory to look back on.
