In the 70s most groups wore jeans and t-shirts on stage. When I saw Queen on the Day at the Races tour I loved everyones outfits. John's overalls and Roger's striped vest. Freddie's ballet shoes and catsuits became legend. I loved the candy-striped shorts and suspenders during the encore! Brian's white pleated wing-like shirt was magnificent. He also had one that was multi-coloured that was even more gorgeous. Throughout the years the fashion was always 💯😎

He's great! I loved him in the documentary The Show Must Go On... so snarky and I was awesome.
I prefer Roger Taylor's stories. He tells it how it was. Whereas Brian May is more reserved, holding back on the behind-the-scenes stuff that fans really want to hear.

Happy to see them giving costumes/fashion it's own video. Every band member has their own style as well as the group having it's own style. Freddie wearing those cat suits have to be my favorite; I agree with Brian that he 💯 had the physique for it ❤️🔥👑
Freddie could wear anything and always looked amazing. He had a great body and attitude. Any other would have looked ridiculous while he always looked sexy.

Agree with Roger about “costumes.” Freddie was an innovator and he had “the balls” to do what he wanted to do and was always surprising. He was fascinating and the driving force for the others to just let go.

The Sheer Heart Attack Tour outfits were pretty great, although my personal favourite was Freddie's Black and White Zandra Rhodes outfit worn during most of the Queen i and ii shows, and on a few special occasions during the American and Japanese legs of the SHA tour ^^

Nice, finally something worth knowing. Back then, the members of the band could wear anything. If you then have the courage and taste of a Freddie Mercury, there was no limit to success. At least the group's designer also set an "age limit" and chose the costumes according to age.

I play keys in a Queen Tribute and they wanted me to wear a cape for the first show (don't ask me why) and I declined - I didn't want any distractions and the cape would have just got in the way. So I agree with Roger.
