I edited the original videos into a new "clip" that shows the greatness of the legendary Roger Taylor. Great drummer, great singer, great songwriter.

Freddie: *alright*
THAT'S WONDERFUL
It's amazing to hear Freddie mercury doing back up vocals
Very beautiful indeed!

@@skan5728 John can sing. You can see him singing w/ the group in the music video for "Somebody to love" and I saw the 1981 Montreal Canada concert on tv where he sang backup on songs like "Killer Queen". So IDK what your talking about.

"Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen."
@MinecraftBros you're thinking of the line he says slightly earlier that's something like "children please, if we all kill each other who's gonna be left to record this album?!"
Roger, What exactly are you doin' wid that caa??
I love the members reaction when he plays this song😂 they are always smiling so cheekily
Back in time he look so small and cute and then he started singing and he blow my mind cause I. DID. NOT. SEE. THAT
VOICE. COMING!
It's so freakin strong, damn Roger
I must be good. I'm the 667th like
Find "Fun in Space" ... well, all his solo stuff really!
The face certainly didn't match the voice. He looked so young and pretty, I wasn't expecting that very adult voice.
@@KathyW2200 ikr, I wish men with looks as handsome as that existed nowadays.
That's the one side of Queen's uniqueness. There will never be another band like them, 4 strong, talanted individuala, who brought so much to the Queen's table. Queen forever!!!This band must live forever. They're the greatest!!!
Mr Roger Taylor it's one best drummer in this world
Yes true
Not one of the best, he is the best!
No , bonham was better
Daffa Hazza agreed. Mitch Mitchell is a god and add larnell Lewis to the mix. Roger Taylor is an incredible drummer but not one of the best
He is a good rock drummer, bu you cant compare Roger Taylor to Dave Weckl, Simon Philips, Pete Erskine ecc...
Ok, when Fred sang the "oh yeah" at 0:57 i almost cried, i just miss him so much💖
We all miss Freddie. His memory is alive still and I bet Roger probally was thinking of his backup vocals in this song as he was singing since Freddie won't be there to do the backups but Freddie can do it up in heaven while Roger is singjng the song. RIP Freddie.
The 70s Freddie
I always sing that bit when i hear the song.

What exactly Roger is doing with his car?

Two things never changed in Queen. Brian's hair and Roger's voice

And we LOVE them, yet it hurts!
guys lets give him credits, he isolated himself in a damn cupboard for this
Lmfaoooooo
Credit to Roger.
And the cupboard, not forgotten of course.
But how does he sound exactly the same as he did in his 20’s, when he’s 68 years old?? Is God Roger Taylor?
My singing teacher dad says when males sing from a young age to teen to adult, their voices change as for females, its the same and you hear the adult voice and the voice you make or get is the one that stays with you if you change it which is the voice your use to most so its probably the same with Roger.
@@happygirlleocatmusic
Certainly not! I mean, I've been told that God is a great guy and everything but he is definitely not Roger Taylor.
It is a 10, the way you just merge the diferent years and the sound level, of course there is going to be a diference of sound quality , but you have produced one of the best videos I ever seen.
Whoa, thank you very much.
Absolutely. Great editing, it fits perfectly well! And does great justice to this song and Roger's powerfull voice.

Back in the days where a drummer is a multi talented man but now even solo singers are trashes
Dude, you can like both modern music AND older music. Queen isn't good just by default because everything else is worse. It's great because it can still hold up even despite all those other great bands.
Exactly
what are you talking about? did you ever hear Harry Styles (solo) or Adele or I don't know Ariana Grande? They've got an amazing voices. It's obvious that Queen are legends but we've got many of good singers today and we should be happy about that.
zbroman z I hope u joking... she's one of the most popular singers now. and I know that this is a Queen video but I wrote a answer to comment where someone wrote that now we don't have talented artists.
zbroman z I don't have questions.
I love Freddie’s reaction to him.
I love the fact that you can hear Freddie singing the background voices
Looking at him, you would never expect that kind of voice, woow
His vocals are so underrated
In my earlier days (70's & 80")I really didn't cre for Roger or thi song at all. Now I realize he a world class drummer, he is now a benchmaek for success. This song is AMAZING. What a real treat to see Freddie at the piano. Love these men.
I’m the same , didn’t see the point of this song back in the day. I just love it now though.
He was always my favourite member of Queen. I wanted to be him! I have all his solo albums on vinyl and play them often.
Could not agree with you more on the quality Roger brings and the love we have for these men and their music!! And doesn't it just fill your heart to hear and see Freddie on those backing vocals!!

"What exactly are you doing with that Roger?" I had to do it
freddie lets his friends shine. ❤
They let Freddie shine. Freddie was not better than them talent-wise.
@@harlowrioux5790 - Indeed. It annoys me slightly that nowadays people seem to think Queen was just Freddie Mercury and three other guys. All four members were great.
@@BoingBB Yes. John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Brian May are just as talented and creative as Freddie. He wasn't better than them and they sure aren't less than him. What I find admirable is that Roger, Brian and John usually put their egos aside for him. You know, each of them could have been upset Freddie got the credit for songs he didn't write. Think `Radio Gaga', `I want to Break Free ' , for instance. Or 'You're My Best Friend' and '39',which Brian never sang live during the original tours. Or 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives'. Those are Roger, Brian and Johns songs. Their lyrics, their original arrangements. But, often people assume Freddie wrote those songs. But, Roger, Brian and John never got bent out of shape about it Then you have Rogers 5 octave range. Freddie sounded the way he did because of Rogers amazing backing/harmonizing vocals. Then you have Brians super specific sound. Without that, Freddie wouldn't have shined as much. John is an astonishing bassist. Roger created his own sound. Put them all together and you have Queen. Not Freddie Mercury and those three other guys. Noone outshined the others. Give Smile front man Tim Staphel credit, as well. The Queen sound comes from the band Smile. There's no mistaking it. Freddie added his own spin to it, but he did not create the familiar sound we all know is unique to Queen. Then John came along and wrapped it All up in a incredible signature bass style. They were in it together and they were a family. That's what moves me; The genuine family like connection that included spats, fights, joy, love and proactiveness. Roger and Brian have been friends for over 50 year now. How many people can say they have a friendship that has lasted that long? They even stopped talking to one another for a bit. But, they worked through it. The whole Queen story, the real story, is inspiring. I wish they all received equal recognition. These 4 specific boys are why Queen is Queen. They somehow found one another in this big old world. Thank goodness. Here's to Roger, John, Brian and Freddie.
Each member is awesome but together they're fire.
@@harlowrioux5790 I agree with you fully, x4 = one amazing band...Queen..
Roger is easily I one of if not the BEST drummer in the world
Many say that Queen were a super great group and that Roger is great since he can sing very well… But on top of that he is singing there (with excellent power, sustain, great vibrato and falsettos) not only playing the drums, but while adding marvelous complicated drum fills, playing in an unusual time signature, a complex waltz composition which he composed himself, a song about loving his car, really dedicated to someone else, but at the same time trying to keep it authentic and genuine…
…Ohhh and also he played all the instruments and voices magnificently for the demo, he is a multinstrumentalist and he could be a whole band by himself!..
I think he can play nine or eight instruments. That's alot.
This Legends.... 🤧🤧🤧I can't..... 💫✨
Every time Roger sings I'm in love with my car in these days, Freddie does the backing vocals and piano in heaven 😇.
