Naw, joy can only speak for himself as an american about the shoes on the bed thing. Most Americans don’t do that either. We think it’s disrespectful and unsanitary to do that, especially if you think about doing that at someone else’s house. A good chunk of us don’t wear shoes in the house either. We either have house slippers, wear socks or walk around barefoot in the house.

I'm in college now, but when growing up, I wasn't allowed to wear shoes in the house. I usually wore my socks or slippers. And when I went to any of my friend's houses, we usually took off our shoes at the door too. Out of all the friends I had, there was one that didn't take off their shoes at the door. She took them off in her room, but she never put them on the bed. I’m from South Carolina.
Joy is certainly not just speaking for himself, i know hundreds of americans and every single one wears shoes inside the house and quite a few don't see anything wrong with wearing shoes on their beds. One of them told me that he does it so he's fully dressed ready for work in the morning and the only thing he has to do is do his hair before leaving the house.
Perhaps if you are american but from another background e.g. chinese, japanese etc you may not do it.

As an American we live in a huge country with many different areas. I live in the Midwest - Southeast MI - Detroit area. I live in a diverse city with different ethnicities. Black, White, Asian, Latino on my one street. I do not know anyone that wears their shoes in the house, let alone on the bed. There may be people here who do, but I don't know any, and I know a lot of people. 🤷🏽♀
Maybe it's a Southern US thing, but if anyone wears shoes in my house, let alone THE BED, they are getting a lecture lol

No one is mfamily wear shoes in the house, I wear slippers due to having heel spurs and the slippers are never worn outside,I’m from Vermont and none of my family members that live down south wear shoes inside either.

I live in South Carolina and I never knew not having shoes on in the house was a thing. It was always an option for me and other people whether we wanted our shoes on or not. I only had one instance where a lady wanted my shoes off and that was with a carpet floor. The other times there weren't any carpet floors. Even if there were carpet floors there was always an option to have your shoes on or off. Also, we have mats in front of the door to wipe our shoes. Most of the time used when it's raining.
Oh wow, I'm from South Carolina as well. I didn't know it was common to wear shoes in the house. I thought it was the opposite😂😂 Growing up there was only one friend I had that didn't take their shoes off at the door. She took them off in her room though. The only people that didn't have to take their shoes off were elderly people. Similarly to the lady you mentioned, it was because most people I knew had carpet. For some reason, a lot of houses where I live have carpet😂

short size is available at Starbucks in the US (most if not all)!You need to order in person as it’s not on the app and they don’t advertise it but it’s honestly a normal size cup of coffee in Italy
It actually is on the app it just depends on the drink. There is no short size for iced drinks. Just most hot drinks.

Dear lord! The shoe thing again! I have never, nor have I've seen any homes I've been in that leave their shoes on. Who the heck does that? Lol
The shoes thing I don't know if it's just because I watch a lot of asian related shows since i was a kid but right when I go to the door I love to take off my shoes. It makes perfect sense to me why the heck would I want to get the floor dirty when I just came from outside so many different things will get on my shoe.

I feel like the thing about wearing shoes inside should only apply to guest, not the home owners. However, if people are visiting you might look crazy if your barefoot or wearing socks, so slippers is the way to go. I’m honestly 50/50 on shoes inside the house thing. Also, I think your shouldn’t ever put ur dirty shoes on furniture because of the dust. And either way you shouldn’t put your feet up it’s disrespectful (for both). The only reason I say only guest should wear shoes is because of dirty/smelly sticky feet/socks, to me it’s disgusting and only the homeowners are allowed to do it.
I'm an American & I've never seen anyone put their shoes on the bed, that would get you yelled at in my household growing up lol.

shoes in the house😩 to me that seems absurd, we don't do that in Canada. I have not met a single Canadian who does it but I know plenty of Americans that do, from many different states. but I've heard these days some families are not doing it so I think its becoming more popular to take your shoes off but it clearly still happens pretty frequently.

Just want to say that the vast majority of Americans do not wear shoes on the bed. About half dont wear shoes in the house at all. I absolutely hate it when people wear shoes in the house. It really upsets me if workers come over and they stomp around in their dirty work boots and my relatives wear shoes in their house so when they come over they wear shoes in my house too. I hate it. I usually walk around bare foot in my house and if i am in someone elses house i walk around in socks.

Pineapple is amazing. I can eat a kilo of it (no joke). Pizza is one of my favorite foods ever. Pineapple on pizza though? No sir.🤣 But I don’t get mad if I see it lol
And yeah, my mom would get so mad if we put our shoes on the bed (like most westerners would)…it’s just not done in most homes but shoes are worn indoors a lot of the time if they don’t look dirty.

I would not be liked in Korea, I stop randomly while talking and just make a weird hand gesture to finish😹 my 🧠 disconnects and makes that 🖥️ rebooting noise, it's not personal! My mom on the other hand will start a conversation about something completely out of context, like she has the first half of the convo in her mind and then the second half out loud and you're left wondering what in the world she's even talking about!! We're the only ones who speak each other's language and translate for each other to everyone else😅

I'm from S California and my parents are from Mexico, so futbol is soccer in our house. My dad played, my uncles, my cousin and I played futbol, so I was brought up calling soccer futbol. My dad has always called American football, futbol Americano. I didn't know the difference until we had to play flag football in middle school ( that's grade 7 and 8), so I was 12 when I found out in the USA it's football 🏈 and soccer ⚽️ 🤡. I've had Japanese, Thai, and Indian curry. Haven't tried Korean curry. All were delicious 😋. Don't even get me started on the traffic out here. Rush hour 1 to 2 hrs to drive 25 miles is ridiculous. 🙄
