The korean lady with the plaits has good conversation and reactions , she seems frendly as well , the "small talks" can be either annoying or just to "break the ice" and are common in many countries and cultures

I’m American and I really enjoyed this video. I think Haley did a good job representing the USA and explained things even when she didn’t personally relate to them. I think Americans are generally friendly people who love small talk and striking up conversations with strangers on the street is not unusual for us. House parties are thing. I’ve been to them. Most of us like peanut butter. I eat it on celery, bananas and apples. If you ever get to try a peanut butter and banana smoothie it’s my favorite. Also peanut butter has different textures. I like creamy more than chunky. People do wear robes . I have a heavy one and a light one for different times of year. It’s convenient to throw on if someone knocks on your door and you are in your pj’s. We might also wear a housecoat or a house dress. These aren’t pajamas but clothes for doing work or lounging around the house that are more comfortable than street clothes. We wear pajamas but also night gowns and what the Korean lady described we call a sleep shirt. The shoes on in the house thing depends on region and culture. My family is Southern and we weren’t made to take shoes off at the door unless they were muddy. But most of my relatives didn’t have carpet either. And we don’t enter our homes from the front door. The front door was for guests and we mostly didn’t use the living room/parlor except for guests. We hung out in what we called the den/family room. I was raised that when your get home from school or work, you immediately go change your clothes. Sometimes immediately shower depending on your work. a lot of women remove their bras. In my family’s culture it would be considered weird to wear street clothes around the house unless you’ve invited company over. I know some Americans who believe you should get up and get fully dressed every day regardless but my family isn’t like that. We on off days like midday naps or lie in bed and watch the “stories”. 😴 And that’s not comfortable in street clothes. 😂

My mother was of the generation where you were supposed to get up and put on a full face of makeup no matter what every day, but I'm also Southern and no one wore shoes around the house in my childhood unless it was flip flops. People do wear socks inside the house, though.

@@jwb52z9 Is your family white? I find that a lot of Southern Belle type white women don’t like to be seen without makeup but most of us Southern black women aren’t like that. We didn’t wear shoes around the house either. I just meant we weren’t required to take them off at the door unless they are muddy. We would come home from school and go to our roomsand change clothes so the shoes come off in the bedroom. Adults did this coming home from work and I do it now. My mom didn’t like me walking around barefoot because she was afraid I’d get something stuck in my foot. So I had to wear house shoes/slippers. But a lot of Southern people don’t always wear shoes outside now that I think about it. 😂

Well, you succeeded in making me hungry. Haley was right that apple and peanut butter are usually served in America as a children's snack. It is a nice combination of the crisp, sweet, and fresh flavor of apples, combined with high protein, nutty peanut butter, to make an appealing and tasty snack. Also putting peanut butter inside celery makes a crunchy, and healthy snack food. The apple and celery have lots of juice/water which helps balance the dryer, sticky peanut butter. Personally I like chunky peanut butter because it is more crunchy and nutty tasting. I did find it strange that Haley was unfamiliar with jumbo sized soft drinks, as they are very common in warmer climates. And there is a lot of ice used in big sodas (soft drinks) as well to keep them chilled.

If you want to express something on your body then print it on clothes and you can decide not to wear them anymore if you dont like the motif any longer.
