anyone watching it in 2024? I just installed it (v3) on CR10s pro V1. Initially I did not put the jumper because in other videos they did not put it, but this is indeed the definitive guide. I followed the steps in the video including the jumper and changing the order of the cables and it worked! Thank you so much :)

Hey, I really hope you see this.
I want to do this, but I am going to have to get a touch creative with what I do (as I am running klipper and already have a direct drive modification). I wanted to know if you have the information for where this is connected on the board (for klippers sake) so I can program it properly? I think it will still work, but I need a little knowhow and pin names to get it right. What are the black and white cable for and what are the colored cables for? If one is power and another information, that may play a key role in how I program my settings in klipper
If not, the only other thing I wanted to ask is what are these pins called? My BL Touch did not come with extra nuts or the jumper. I want to know what jumper is used: what size jumper, what size/name are the pins the jumper will attach to. Also, your link on longer leads to the extension wire you described, but I got lucky to find one on amazon.

Great tutorial. I have the V2.4 board and a BL Touch bought this week so V3. The 3 pin connector supplied has Yellow Blue Red wires and not the yellow red brown in the video. Do I still swap the 2 cables (red and blue in my case)
The connector for the black and white cable connector in my kit is a red 2 socket connector - do I just plug this into the 3 pin socket on the board? Or should I replace the cables?
Also do I still need to flash the firmware as this tutorial suggests?

It quickly downloaded, reporting 0 files for all of these: .cfg, code, .lib, .h2k, .bin, .d2k, .ico, .wav and .bmp. Now when I put the contents of the 10sPro_1.70_ScreenFiles\DWIN_SET directory at the top level of the microSD card, it no longer tries to download.
****So, how do I recover? ******
Note that I looked around to see what a typical microSD card contents should look like BEFORE I did the first insert - but never found any information about that. So I expect all these files should be at the root of the microSD cards.

Hello, maybe you know a solution to my dilemma.
I have a secondhand CR-10s Pro with a BLTouch installed and TinyMachines firmware.
I'd love to start using the Creality Sonic Pad in order to get Klipper, but I've read of people having to "downgrade" back to stock Creality firmware for that.
I read you suggesting using the Z+ port and CR-10S Pro v2 firmware: do you mean using a stock Creality firmware rather than TinyMachines'? Have you done that yourself and does it work?

    • @YaFunklord
      @YaFunklord Před 4 lety +1

Also Sweden, had the cr10s pro for 1 week, just received an inductive sensor and waiting to get a bltouch and loads of other parts.
Mine was pretty useless out of the box, the metal bed is warped 0.2+ higher than the sides and the capacitive sensor just gives screwed up values and had to be deactivated. Tried a glass bed which is very level, but instead is much slower for heating and cooling, trickier for adhesion and it might not even work with a capacitive sensor.
I'm hoping to use these two sensors simultaneously and keep upgrading things until the printer requires no more babysitting after switching on.
The inductive sensor alone should not require different firmware, only BLTouch does, since it's wired differently.
If you are in Stockholm maybe two heads are better than one for getting this printer fixed up ;)

Inside the source assets, there is a HEX folder that contains a whole slew of pre-built hex files for flashing onto your mainboard, you will also find the latest combined landscape LCD firmware.
THERE ARE FIRMWARE IN THE PRE-COMPILED HEX FILES FOR ALMOST ALL CREALITY PRINTERS AND MODELS, INCLUDING VARIOUS HOTENDS, AND BED LEVERS you will probably want the CR10-S 10 Prov2 using Z+ firmware or the CR10-S Pro BL hex these should work for the two main installation types of the BL Touch, the LCD firmware is compatible with all the pre-built firmware the current latest of posting is Marlin 7.4.7 TM3D DWIN builds.
