  • In this video I decided to make some tents to replace the cardboard cutouts in The Walking Dead All Out War miniatures game by Mantic Games.
    They can of course be used for any miniatures game and could be painted to fit with an army in Bolt Action or a heroes camp in Kings of War or D&D
    Materials used:-
    Cardboard (any will do)
    PVA Glue
    Masking tape
    Baby Wipe (non patterned)
    Paint
    Cork tile
    Static Grass
    Dont forget to like, comment and subscribe and let me know what games you play and what you'd like to see.

    Great video just a thought instead of the card as front flaps you could remove them and just have the paper there so you could roll them up

    Cracking idea but instead of using cardboard have you thought about using 240gm card paper for the tent and covering that in baby wipes? Still a great video and idea

      @BlackJackLegacy  Před 7 lety +1

      Thanks for watching and commenting. The Red tent at the end of the video was made using a breakfast cereal box card and that worked fine too. I'm sure a good weight cardstock would work too.

    for static grass. i have looked on eBay for it but there are multiple colours of green. any suggestions on the colour of green is best. Thanks
    Also do you have Instagram?

    • @BlackJackLegacy
      @BlackJackLegacy  Před 7 lety

      Hi Scott. I just used some I had already but just pick whatever you like the look of. I'd say as its for walking dead then the grass wouldn't be like a golf course perfect bright green so try something such as this :- elementgames.co.uk/paints-hobby-and-scenery/paints-hobby-and-scenery-by-manufacturer/the-army-painter/basing-and-accessories/gale-force-9-scenics/hobby-round-dark-green-static-grass

      Hi Scott yeah I just painted them black and then dry brushed with a bit of silver.

  • @Romerosrequest
    @Romerosrequest Před 7 lety +1

    how are you painting the brown on?

    • @BlackJackLegacy
      @BlackJackLegacy  Před 7 lety

      Do you mean on the grass Scott? I just dabbed it on with a large dry brush to make it look a little muddy.

    • @Romerosrequest
      @Romerosrequest Před 7 lety +1

      BlackJack Legacy Sorry was very tired last night. I meant the brown in front of the tent.

    • @BlackJackLegacy
      @BlackJackLegacy  Před 7 lety

      Yeah - just as I've said above. Just dab it on so it looks muddy from where people have been walking in and out.
