As someone who backed down most of my life to please people that don't give a sh** about my feelings, I'm happy to say now that I can finally value myself this will be my hymn.
Good for you. I was like that and as I got older I became to learn not to take crap from anyone. The world is full of ass holes and will push you to the limit.
The most difficult part in life where you feel undervalued is the worst perpetrator is usually ourselves.
I describe myself as proudly arrogant. Only someone who valued themselves as little as I used to will understand why and how much better it is than the alternative.
The irony you will find is those who you backed down from will look at your confidence and consider you 'lucky' for having it. Lucky is the term used for those who spend years working for something by those too stupid to understand the effort. It would be like me saying David is lucky to have such a voice.

Disturbed have been a band that I've held very dear to me since high school. Not only have they proven to be ultra consistent, but I can proudly say that this is one of their best albums to date.

@@undeathmetal1717 clearly didn't read the comment well. I'm a big Disturbed fan and therefore I have heard Evolution. While not their best album I thought it balanced their heavy and soft side well.

I've loved disturbed's messages in all their music and their mission! I think that's what sets them apart from the other singers out there! Their purpose to help people through the rough patches and to motivate and show them it's just a moment we can get passed it and that we can stand up for ourselves in any situation. Really liking the visuals on all of these new songs and happy they went back to a heavier style although not like the sickness still better than Evolution!!
The lyrics are so cookie cutter and flat. I like the heavy riffs. Maybe missing that nu metal rap breakdown here and there to make it the sickness. But man I miss "You come on like a blood stained hurricane, won't even bother now to tell me why"

My dad got me hooked on disturbed 1 of my favorites all time is stupify my dad passed away may 18th 2023 and his passing has been a huge hit to my life and this song describes every last bit of what I've been dealing with for the past 5months with the people I thought were family or loved ones I feel lost empty I've isolated myself to the point of disgust my dad kept me from going insane
