What to expect when traveling from Rome to Venice by Train in 2023🇮🇹

- After an amazing time in Rome, we decided to take the train up to Venice. We booked the fast train, which was roughly 4 hours from Rome to Venice, with no stop offs. Highly recommend this when traveling through Italy, the train station is extremely easy to use and stress free compared to the airport!

We are thinking of doing the same thing -- hitting Rome, Venice, and Naples (Positano). After doing this, do you think it was too hectic? Would you do it the same way if you cold do it all over again? Would you change anything?
At the end of the day it’s all worth it! If money isn’t an issue I’d probably fly into Rome and out if Naples to save some hassle. Spend an extra day to see Pompeii and wander around Naples. Also I would have liked to see Florence. But we only have so much vacation time and can’t see it all right? lol

I think it was around 70$, we booked it within a few days of going. I think you would be fine getting it there as well. I just like to be a few steps ahead
