Hebden Bridge flooding July 9th 2012

Flash flooding caused further destruction in the Calder Valley today, washing rocks and other debris off the hill sides into the town.
Unfortunately, the British Gas van I was behind at 3:40 then sped through the water creating a bow wave that then entered the shops, which is why the woman in the cafe window looks agitated.
It is also worth noting that modern cameras don't need you to look through the viewfinder (technology, eh?) so all of the footage is created by pointing the camera of the general direction of where stuff is going on. I'm sure that won't satisfy the Elf an Safety experts who want to see me behind bars, but hey, you can't please all the people all the time. :-)
