Aaarrgghh BEST COVER EVER!!!!!!!!! I cant believe you nailed so many of the chord voicings sooo good right in the feels!!! Is that drop D tuning going on to nail some of those chord progressions.. can't believe you caught and built in so many of the little nuanced phrases that make this song so utterly groovy. Man like Sam got more grooves than a hundred records. Been listening to this song as a little kid in the 80s when Hong Kong popstar Anita Mui covered it. this is undoubtedly the best guitar cover of plastic love on youtube. it's not stale, has so much GROOVE, true to the song with added flair and style, and also, by the way his hand stretches in some parts it's definitely unique to him lol. god DAMN that T-A-S-T-Y bass lick at 1:57-1:58 😫👌🏼💦 i only wish sam finished the song and did the ending riff that would've made this perfect. still perfect though great work!

Japanese City Pop really is fun, groovy, peaceful music. And it's pretty accessible to people in their 30's or 40's...familiar style from growing up, and also a decent amount of English lyrics. I got a random torrent off of pirate bay and threw the first few volumes on a USB stick to listen to in the car. Easy peasy.
