Awesome video bro! Appreciate all the info you're giving. I gotta hit this trail soon! Thanks for sharing! 🤙🏼
DOPE! Keep the videos rolling...
Awesome video! I love all the extra details, we can’t wait to go!!
Thank you so much for watching glad you liked the vlog 🙏 you’re going to have an amazing time 🙌
I think so many of us have done this trail as a day hike since overnights are the ultimate challenge for NF, and then we want to overnight even more so after day hiking it. I hadn't thought about it, but your description of the first couple of miles is so accurate. It's a mini beast, but once you get to the sign, it's a steady flow the rest of the way, and doesn't feel as difficult. Props on getting the good real estate at lake 2. Also agree on the backpacking vibe. So many cool people to meet on trail. ✌️
Such a beautiful trail it never gets old 🙌 have you checked out the south fork trail yet? And yes it’s super hard to obtain a permit especially for the summer time. Thank you so much for watching 🙏🙌
@@questrunnerchannel not yet! Is it a good one?
@@jules1sd it’s awesome I think better than the north Fork 🙌 check it out: czcams.com/video/8lfQ7S7CxYU/video.html
Beautiful view.
Whoa! Have wanted to do this trek for far too many years, definitely adding this one to the summer "must do" list.
Yes you have to! It’s one of my favorites 🙏 everyone has to do it at least once 🙏
I just made it my #1 goal for 2022.
Awesome content man! Hope to catch you in Eastern Sierra camping/hiking next time!
Beautiful ❤️
Looks amazing 😊 thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you for watching 🙏
great vid and i see you closing in on 1k lets go!!!
seems like a lot of people on the trail, excellent video
Great video man 👍🏽
Thanks for watching 🙌🙏
I can’t wait to hike this trail in May (2022) 😍… Awesome 👏🏻 Video
You’re going to love the trail it’s one of my favorites 🙌 thank you for watching 🙏
Favorite hike!
Thank you so much for the support 🙏
Awesome hike, great video
Appreciate the support! Thank you for watching 🙌
Great video bro!!! New subscriber 🤙🏽
Me and my husband hiked the north fork trails many times . I love glacier lodge. Just there in June fishing. Very strenuous hike but beautiful and worth it
what is the earliest time of the year you think where its warm enough to camp overnight and not completely covered in snow?
I would say around June since we’ve been having late winters , but always check the weather forecast for changes.
So cool! Love the video. You gave such helpful tips. I also liked the even ratio of music and talking.
Glad you liked the video and that it was helpful 🙏 thank you for watching 😀🙌
Forgot...would like to add coffee & cinnamon (cafe con canela) delicioso 😊
Damn bro that trail is no joke, it kicked my ass when we did it. 😂 Can’t believe you went by yourself too! We didn’t have a permit when we went, but one of these days I’d really like to grab one and stay the night. Going all the way up there and having to head back before dark is rough. Good stuff man 🤙🏽
@@questrunnerchannel Haha right on 🤙🏽 Hopefully we will be able to get back up there one of these days 😊
Great video! It seems really challenging to get your hands on the wilderness permits to stay overnight at North Fork. I’d like to stay overnight, too. I’ve day hiked it, it was pretty challenging for me. Stay healthy! :)
Thank you 🙏 and yeah landing permits for the north Fork trail is always tough, try to aim for a weekday and month of October. After summer things get less busy 🙏 thanks again for watching 🙌
I was there last weekend 05/28/22 I drank water directly from that part of the river without filtering and I still alive 😁 I made 2 1/2 hours from the glacier lodge to the 1st lake (no backpack) nice trip, next time I want to do it like you, spend a night up there! 👍🏼
Nice! I took another trip early April there was still snow but always a great hike 🙌 I have to vlog the glacier one of these days 🙏 yes highly recommend you spend the night out there it’s the perfect place 🙌 thanks for watching 🙌
Great Video with lots of useful information! I'd be interested in knowing how heavy your pack was (total weight). Thanks for sharing.
Can’t remember the exact weight but under 40 lbs I did overpack though lol I was taking extra gear to test 😅 glad the vlog was useful 🙌 thanks for watching 🙏
Have u upgraded any camera gear ? Pros and cons of the go pro and your canon ? Nice video like how u give a lot of details and explain thanks for that and can’t wait for more videos cheers bro !!!!!
Wow beautiful views! I need to do this next year. Have you ever camped in the months of November or December? I want to try it but haven’t seen many videos during that time.
Hey there, stumbled upon your channel because of this video. Loved it and subscribed. I’ll be going there next week for three days (and two nights) and was wondering what can I expect prior to arriving? This will actually be my first backpacking trip and I’m pretty excited for it.
@@questrunnerchannel thank you so much for the info! Because of you, I had chosen to stay at Lake #2 for my first night!
Hi Questrunner, I enjoyed your video. What is the name of the camping chair. Regards Mike
Link in the video description 🙏 thank you for watching 😀
Dude awesome video! My buddies and I planning on doing this trail the first weekend of November. Would you possibly know what the weather might be like, also are the rivers still flowing then or are they seasonal? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
You guys will love it 🙌 during late fall going into November expect the weather to drop significantly. I’ve done that trail around that time as well and caught scatter showers, but the weather is always unpredictable. I would definitely keep an eye on the forecast. Take a down jacket, zero degree sleeping bags etc. The rivers will be flowing, and the views amazing 🙌. I have some more details on a blog I posted on my webpage: questrunnerchannel.com 😁 thanks for watching 🙏
What dates did you go? What was the weather like?
Nice video did u see any fish in the lake?
Hi there! May I know when you did this trip? I’m thinking of doing it in early September and hoping it’s a good time of year to go :). Also won’t mind cooler weather in October too :).
Hey! This was mid September I recall the weather was amazing. Hope you have a great trip 🙌 thanks for watching 🙏
Great video.
I didn't see the bear can link anywhere. Would you mind?
Thank you for watching here is the link amzn.to/3v9sHyY
im going this october on the 21 to 25 of 2022
Nice! Safe travels 🙌🙌 thanks for watching 🙌
Chocolate Coffee..a Latino thing 🤠😎👍
It’s the best 🙌
🤲🏻🙌🏻
Thanks for watching 🙌
The color of that water is unbelievable. How did you end up liking your North Face pack? Looks like you have a pretty sweet set up. I’m always trying to make mine even better. Take care man and happy trails!
The water is amazing but cold lol the northface pack was honestly more comfortable than I expected 🙌 thanks for watching 🙌
How many miles is from start to lake #2 where you camped?
It was a little over 6 miles one way. Thank you for watching 🙏 here is a link to my webpage with more info at www.questrunnerchannel.com

May I suggest instead of the bladder bag, get yourself a Lifestraw, if there’s running streams of course, less weight on your back.
Thank you 🙏 I also have one, but I always end up taking my platypus 😅 Somehow I always end up running into someone who needs some filtered water 😁 thank you for watching 🙌
@@questrunnerchannel very that’s thoughtful of you. 🙌
@@Erim89 on my early backpacking days my filter got messed up and thankfully someone was kind enough to filter some water for me 🙏
@@questrunnerchannel that’s awesome
I see you are a fan of @TheNorthFace We have almost the same gear :)
How far is the hike?
@@questrunnerchannel 15 miles? All incline?! I think I just died ahahahah😂
Where to get the Bear spray?
You can order online or at a local REI store 🙏
You see any spots for 4 person group?
Depending on how big your tents are there is plenty of space 🙏
Where do you get the permit?
@@questrunnerchannel thank you
Can you camp there ??
You’ll need a wilderness permit 🙏
Is there any bear living there?
I’ve never encountered a bear up at these lakes but yes you’re always exposed to bears in the mountains. That is why bear vaults are required for safety purposes 🙏 thank you for watching 🙏
They like to visit the campgrounds near the trailhead pretty often.
damn that much be rich. fancy gear. stop telling us to like
