2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 rear doors won't open due to corrosion/rust.No use Unbolting the latches.

NOTE: THERE'S NO USE IN UNBOLTING THE LATCHES THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN AS THEY'RE ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE FRAME STILL WITH THE STRIKER.
10 MM bolts for bottom latch mechanism.
If yours is old and rusted like this vehicle, soak the bottom one with oil and use a pry bar to pry the door open or have somebody pull really hard on it while you're pulling on the release.
* There are plenty of other videos on how to get the door panel off. 7 mm socket remove two screws on armrest and then pry out clips.
