Wes was not the main character. The main character is Annalise. Wes was boring. He got a little interesting at the end though. I still wish it were Frank. I've never liked him or found any use for him.

Wes was actively the most interestinh charcter of the show as he never really opened up to anyone but Rebecca in season 1, in season 2 he started to fly off the hinge trying to find Rebecca and in season 3 he had grown attached to the entire group and actively lost his life for them. None of the other members of the group really grew as characters besides Asher, he grew up from the completely childish fool he started as. Annalise never needed to change as ge character worked as is. Past the 2nd season this show really fell in the gutter as the integral part of the story and the backbone just disappeared

Did anybody else realize the show basically ended with how the show started? The very last face we saw was Wes’s face but as his son Christopher and the very first face we saw was Was’s face as himself and both scenes rising the bicycle. The first 2 people that started the show was Wes & Annalise and the last 2 people that ended the show was Christopher (Wes’s face) & Annalise. This show has so many amazing details.

Ill probably get a lot of hate for this but idc anymore. Wes' death was a great plot twist you can't deny that. However that doesn't mean I liked it. From a story telling perspective it was kinda necessary, because other than Annalise no one elses death would've mattered as much as Wes'. I mean ever since the first season I always saw him and Annalise as equals, mother/son and consider Alfred to be the next star if Viola had walked away from the show. However that's not the case anymore. Despite the points I made on why this death was a good move, I'm done with this show. Don't get me wrong its good show. A lot of mystery and suspense, but that was a bonus. I don't like how the play of how whole world will see Wes as a savage murder by pinning Rebecca's murder along with Sam's on him. Ya the inner circle knows the truth and will eventually find the truth of who killed him, but what then. Annalise made Wes look like a heartless monster. I mean that'll be an awesome time for Laurel trying to explain that to her/Wes child when he/she is old enough to understand, that's if she doesn't lose it. TBH Alfred Enoch is the reason I gave this show a chance, since he was in HP as Dean. I wanted to see how well he played as a different character with an American accent, especially since he has very posh british accent. Plus seeing him brought back fond memories of when i was a kid growing up with HP. With his character Wes I enjoyed it, but now that he's killed off its killed a lot of interest. I'll never watch this show on a weekly basis again, but when it comes to netflix I'll only skim through it to see what happens to Laurel and her/wes child. Should anything happen to them I'll probably never come back.

So I’m finally getting caught up on HTGAWM - I knew they killed off Wes and that’s why I stopped watching. I guess in so many ways I’m like others who find connections and similarities in characters we come to love and appreciate. I never saw his death scene until now and even as a man I can’t stop crying. I know it’s cheesy but it still hurt to see the scene dramatized this way and have him painted so negatively after he lost so much. I guess that’s why I understood the character. I truly could relate to the loss. Much respect to the show. You wrote and acted out one hell of a scene.
Bro this hit me so hard. Like he was kind of annoying this season, but I actually liked him more than the others, he was the main character and my 2nd favorite character after Asher. I did not want to see how he died. What made me so sad was that he was struggling, suffering, begging for help knowing he was about to die, staring death in face before dying. If I had a choice of how to die, I would want it to be quick and painless, but knowing that my 2nd favorite person went out like that is what made me lose my shit. So I’m finally getting caught up on HTGAWM - I knew they killed off Wes and that’s why I stopped watching. I guess in so many ways I’m like others who find connections and similarities in characters we come to love and appreciate. I never saw his death scene until now and even as a man I can’t stop crying. I know it’s cheesy but it still hurt to see the scene dramatized this way and have him painted so negatively after he lost so much. I guess that’s why I understood the character. I truly could relate to the loss. Much respect to the show. You wrote and acted out one hell of a scene.
Bro this hit me so hard. Like he was kind of annoying this season, but I actually liked him more than the others, he was the main character and my 2nd favorite character after Asher. I did not want to see how he died. What made me so sad was that he was struggling, suffering, begging for help knowing he was about to die, staring death in face before dying. If I had a choice of how to die, I would want it to be quick and painless, but knowing that my 2nd favorite person went out like that is what made me lose my shit. And the goddamn music ain't helping nothing either

My eye is swolen because I’ve been crying the whole second half of season 3😓 Wes death scene was so hard to watch because he put up a good fight and still didn’t make it. Him and Laurel my favorite couple were just getting ready to start a fucking family and the writers just had to kill him off like that. Every show Shonda is involved in they kill off the most important characters. Why Wes!?!?!? Why'd it have to be one of the original 5? NO ONE BIG NEEDS TO DIE FOR A SHOW TO STAY INTERESTING!!!!!!! Why don't writers understand that? I hope they don't make some stupid ass story line with Laurel finding another boyfriend without her finding out what happened to Wes and I hope whoever killed Wes gets more than what he deserves. But mostly I just really wish he isn't actually dead. I'd be happy af, even if it's in a really stupid way, if they bring Wes back.

Am so conflicted by his death cuz am so sad about it and its so heartbreaking that after death he was viewed as a monster but then again he was willing to turn on everyone and he knew if he did that they would be arrested and was still willing to go through with it so idk
He wasn't going to turn on everyone. The reason they were able to pin all the deaths on him was because he called Annalise that last time before he died to let her know that the police knew about Sam and Rebecca and that he wasn't going to let her take the fall for what he had done so they construed it that he killed both Sam and Rebecca and the DA lady that Asher killed
I hated Wes in the beginning. I can't believe just when I began to love him that he died this way. So sad.
