Dear rev fr with all respect to your priesthood I beg to differ. Unfortunately you are encouraging the youths to have a boyfriend or a girl friend. These youths are born out of some parents. It is their right and responsibility to find a suitable life partner for their children. Even if one set of parents agree the other side may not agree because of many reasons like socio economic and religious status. In that case the children loose the blessings of their parents. I am a preacher and a family councillor. I have come across many Catholic youths who doesn’t know who is Jesus Christ and why He died on the cross. They don’t know their Saviour and Lord. And to them you are advocating love before marriage. I am holding a professional qualification. During my studies as well as during the course of my career there were many opportunities or temptations to get entangled in to relationship. But the love and respect to my parents always safeguarded me from falling to such temptations. In video the boy who talking in favour of love before marriage the reason was he needs a preferential treatment. That attitude itself will cause serious problems in the family relationship. Do you know father more than 40% of the divorce cases in the family courts are from Christian couples. The reason I have observed is. Their sacramental life is very poor and most of them don’t know Christ. This is what we have address these days. Once Christ is in their hearts He will lead them properly. This is what we have to do at this juncture. I most humbly request you to focus on this area.
