Shagrath cites Chrome Division's influences as Black Label Society,Spiritual Beggars and AC/DC,and says that he wanted the band to sound like an '80s rock 'n roll heavy metal band. He also talked about the band trying adhere to that image, through lyrical content and such.Reviewers compared the sound of the music to Motörhead,and Black Label Society and compared the "fun" attitude of the band to Turbonegro.

You were at a Chrome gig in Oslo just now you say... Funny, since the last gig in Oslo and the second ever, and last with Eddie was October 2008... They will play with the new vocalist at John Dee this coming 20th November. Haven`t played Norway since last year, so don`t know what you think you saw 6. september......
I just discovered another band that has a similar vibe, in that noone I know has ever heard of, and have a kind of "commercial production" metal/hard rock sound: Bobaflex. I like this kind of music understanding it's place as great entertainment without expecting much in originality but with very supreme technical ability. Thumbs up!

Shagrath (born Stian Tomt Thoresen... Shagrath also played guitar and drums in Fimbulwinter until the band split up in 1994.Shagrath also played keyboards in another Norwegian black metal band called Ragnarok. Another unknown band was Starkness, a solo project of Shagrath. He is also the lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Chrome Division.

The reason why Patric Ullaeus directed this and all the badass babes, is cos Shagrath is in the band..Dimmus singer. He's playing guitar, but wears shades in their videos I think to not draw attention to himself and keep it about the band. Without him, they wouldnt have this quality of video.

Loll Actually it's Shagrath himself as long as Lex Icon(Nagash) who started this band anyway. So of course Shagrath is in it. In the World Misanthropy(Dimmu DVD) He said that he always considered himself as a guitar player. Listen to the Stormblast 2005. He plays guitar with Silenoz.
By the way, Silenoz is the one drinving the car in the video ^^. I just noticed it.

shagrath play guitar and backing guitar for dimmu before...besides that he also played drums keys and bass for them. yes he played all unstruments in dummu borgir. look at sorgens kamer-del 2 he plays guitar there.

That was a 3-track EP and can hardly be classified as an album. Also, Silenoz didn't do everything else, these guys did:
