So long yet so close till new episodes come out
I always felt like the whole unplug sequence has always been under-appreciated for how unsettling and engrossing it is, and how the cryptic ending that follows it up could mean so many things, like if the series has started all over again in a good way or bad way. That’s one of my favorite things about Dhmis. The team does a phenomenal Job at leaving stuff up to interpretation with many different details to support nearly any kind of theory that could be made on it.
i think it's all a time loop but with different universes, (?) hence the different color palette.
i feel like the ending with all the characters popping up and harassing yellow guy is sort of a parallel to how kid’s tv is now. kid’s shows nowadays are so overstimulating and bright with colors and have some sort of new song every episode. when red guy pulls the plug, it brings us to a simpler scene, with not as complex of a set. i wonder if the pulling of the plug is representing what would happen if we stopped giving as much funding to big tv companies, and allowed for simpler tv shows to be made

My theory it's that they were genuinely friends, not actors. Roy is making money off of them, red guy literally has his mind blown when he sees that its all being recorded, and duck also knocks over the camera in episode 5 unknowingly, we can see Roy's name all over the place too, it's just him being greedy and trying to succeed off of the friendship of others...the plug represents them become aware enough to finally put a stop to his scheme, they stand up for themselves and end the show (most likely suing him too) (that's them unplugging the plug) I think the ending is now that Roy has nothing to feed off of, he had to find actors that look alike, but since his budget is now low after the sue, he can't have as much props as he did before

6:38 the part where roy gently puts a hand on red's shoulder is my favorite part of the series. By this point, we know he is the villain, and the music when he steps out of the smoke reinforces it. It feels like the final villain monologue scene without any actual dialogue. Complete gold.

Everything seems to have worked out in the end though. The fact that Sketchbook isn’t summoned by Roy’s terminal at all suggests that she actually _wasn’t_ a creation of his, so her appearing at the end doesn’t mean that they’re still under Roy’s control (also reinforced by the date no longer being June 19th). And since they’ve all become their favorite colors, either Sketchbook’s lesson may go differently this time, or they’ve grown enough to be able to resist her.

I actually like the development where the characters are finally noticing that whenever they want to know about something, the song and disturbing scenes start, Yellow guy didn't even want this episode to start, he just wanted sleep.
In episode 4 is when it first starts I believe.
After mentioning that they need to know some way to get more information, they all silently look at the globe waiting for it to come alive.
Eventually it does but Colin interrupts it before it could start singing. (Though, you can hear the globe in the glitchy segment and even see him while they are in the computer world)
Red escapes and the next episode takes place without him. As expected, food comes alive but this time Duck becomes aware that something is wrong and he escapes the set. This leads to him dying and in the next episode (this episode) he is nowhere to be seen.
If we are going by elimination, Yellow would have presumably taken the fate next.
