Watching this video, I find it hilariously coincidental that the latest episode of DHMIS (the first one in over six years), was delayed because of scheduling conflcits with the Queen's funeral.

In addition to reflecting Sesame Street archetypes in their species, each character in DHMIS reflects Sesame Street in the type of puppet that they are. Red guy is a full body puppet like Big Bird. Yellow guy is a hand puppet with arms controlled by sticks, or “stick-hand”, like Bert. Duck is a hand puppet with arms controlled by someone’s actual hand, or “live-hand”, like Ernie. These are the three specific types of puppets used on Sesame Street and most other Muppet productions.

Nitrotopia but maybe you have. Pigeons don't fledge (leave the nest) until they are almost adult-sized and those that don't know what to look for can't tell a baby pigeon from an adult one. In the case of Woodpigeons (the fat ones that you see on your lawn), the young ones are those without a white flash on the neck.

Honestly I think this is the creative insanity of artists. They make crazy shit and never say if any one theory or idea is right, but you have snobs on all sides thinking their theory is right. For all we know the creators could have no plan period, and that goes for most art imo.

It’s ironic that DHMIS is potentially a parable about mainstream TV having an influence through advertising with it now being a show on Channel 4.
I never realized it was all in one day, each episode a different part of the day. First they are eating breakfast and learn about creativity, then they go to watch tv and learn about time, then they go on a picnic for lunch and yellow guy learns about love, then they go home and learn about computers, then they eat dinner and duck gets canned, and finally yellow guy goes to bed at the end of the day. So at the end when the time changes to the 20th, it was the next day. I never noticed all of this happened in one day.
But hey that’s just a theory! 😉 😂

Every episode in DHMIS is a progression in time, the first episode takes place in breakfast, second is mid-morning, third is lunch, fourth is afternoon, fifth is evening, and sixth is bedtime.

Why is nobody talked about the missing posters that have all three of their faces on them?
The episodes are probably on the Dark Web but Red Guy thinks it's on the air which is why the characters are reported missing and the time is stuck at Father's Day. It also explained the disturbing events. Days have passed and they don't even know it. Roy has been lying. At least that's my theory.

What if they were kidnapped and brutally killed so in the episodes they go through how they were murdered? They then try to escape not knowing they are dead and maybe the clock got mad because they were going onto something and he was trying to distract them. Also what if whenever they are going onto something they try to take it away by killing them. Everyday is a different day and how it goes will always end with a death.

I'm kinda upset that he didn't go into more detail. Like how the "dark themes" are things into today's world, like intrusive thoughts (episode 1), the destruction of the world (episode 2), cults (episode 3), mind control (episode 4), cannibalism (episode 5), and night terrors (episode 6). Plus how he didn't go more into depth about June 19th. Like the missing poster in episode 3. Unfortunately I watched him rant about a hat and other shows for about 3 minutes. He kinda overcomplicated the points not to be focusing on but did give out some facts I didn't know before. So overall 2/3 bears 🐻🐼🐻❄️

Ah, this theory makes more sense after going and watching the videos again. And I found an interesting thing - in DHMIS 6, when Duck Guy gets transported into Yellow Guy's bad dream, he says "-fish on my tray. What? Where am I?!?!" This would suggest that Duck Guy has never seen his own room before, meaning... it isn't his room, it's just a new set that was made for the TV show.

When I was little my brother took me to his room and showed me the first half of episode 1. He then paused it and asked if I wanted to keep watching. I thought it was cute so I said yes. He said okay then unpaused it, left, and locked me in his room with the terrifying (at the time) video. And no, I didn't know how to stop it. Gotta love older siblings. I was screaming, crying and banging on the door. He only let me out when mom made him. He's such a good brother 🙂

i would categorize it as a "Gumball" style show.
Animation can change styles in the blink of an eye, going from western calarts to simple cutesy japanese animation to puppets to cgi and anime. sometimes it will have all those things on the screen at once, with a cgi t-rex, an animated icecream girl, a claymation ball of clay, and the upside down face of a live action woman.
gumballian animation doesn't bother categorizing itself, because doing so would exclude a thousand amazing ideas

Humorously enough, in 2017, Pelling and Sloan helped work on, of all things, an episode of Gumball (a kids' TV series), and they got their OWN series on TV in 2022. So...this disproves the "creators are trying to show the dangers of Kids' Entertainment" theory.
