I like how the pencil goes back to correct it’s mistakes, emphasizing human error causes bad things to happen. Alsooo, perhaps the haunted egg is the baby chickens ghost, showing that cracking it open was not supposed to happen in its life cycle, therefore bad luck.

Some flies fly over your sandwich, and now there are germs on your sandwich
You drive a nail through a water pipe thing and your house gets flooded (Might help with the fire, though)
Your egg comes to life and flies around

DHMIS is absurdism, peak absurdism that's presented in a way that anyone can get into, while this film is kind of...avant garde-ish.

Roy wanted him to stop, basically saying "join us again" (Us being the media.)
When red pulled the plug, it opened a new era of free thinking and no boundaries on the tv/media in general. It's a pretty deep meaning tbh
