    In today's vlog I talk speciality coffee over breakfast here in London. I talk about the global chains like Starbucks and then visit a coffee shop that has been voted one of the best in London in its time - Workshop coffee. If you like espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano or iced coffee its a great coffee shop.
    Workshop are pretty much a one stop shop for everything coffee. They have stores in London's Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia, Marlebone and Holborn where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in store or to go and they also have a selection of great food and other drinks.
    And for any coffee baristas they also roast coffee beans and supply them for home brewing and to many other stores here in London. They even supply the machines for you to make your own coffee at home, and master class lessons to perfect your barista and coffee making skills.

    I really enjoy your videos. I love everything British but sadly will never experience it first hand so your video are great. I love that you show the everyday London experiences. Keep up the great work. I think your channel has what it takes to grow like mad.

      Hi! +Maisie C Heart`s Content Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the vlogs. Yes London is so large and most tourists have very limited time so some of the places I go would probably not feature on many visitors itineraries and I will probably go to places even Londoners avoid.

    You've done it again! Made me feel hungry - and Ive never liked eggs Benedict - but they looked great. I remember seeing roasters like that in the Kardomah coffee shops in the 50s - wonderful smells.

    Great coffee shop, no doubt.
    Ozone Coffee in Shoreditch is also a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee as well.
    Cool video and nice music. I like when you use music moods such as "happy" or "funky" for your videos rather than "mysterious" or similar.
    In my opinion a lovely way to react when people notice you filming is to simply just wave at you, if they feel the urge to do something that is. Hehe, keep up the good vlogging.

      Hi! +Boris Leko Thanks! Glad you liked the vlog. I think the music in this one I produced but that is quite time consuming so I cant make new music for every vlog right now unfortunately.

      I'm OK with you reusing certain soundtracks for several videos. At least you mix it up.
      Just mentioned music moods which I prefer, that's all.

      @RobertsLondon  Před 8 lety

      HI! +Boris Leko If you check the last 3 vlogs descriptions there is links to alternative versions of them with entirely different soundtracks and a secret playlist on my channels home page for them. They are banned in some countries and on some devices and I have not announced them publicly yet in any video. I have not found anyone releasing multiple variations of their own vlogs or using the unlisted setting for secret vlogs yet like this - but if you know of someone let me know so I can see how they are doing it.

      Hey Robert, I just pointed out music moods I like the most. You're doing good with your soundtracks, just stay on track. Chill.

      HI! +Boris Leko I know, I'am chilled - I'm not ranting at you, I really have made each of the last few vlogs with alternative soundtracks - check the link in the first line of the vlogs description - and if you know any other vlogger than uses unlisted links in this way I would like to know because I cant find any, and I would like to see how others do it?

    Starbucks drinkable ?
    Well I have to disagree with that. Starbucks is everything I don't want in my coffee. I even take Merrild over Starbucks. But it's nice to have it to remind you about how your coffee should not taste like. Even their Reserve line with some fancy stuff like Jamaican and Hawaiian coffees is a big failure.
    But I will have to agree that Workshop has the best coffee in London. And I love their Buf espresso it's one of the top 3-4 espressos I've had.

    • @RobertsLondon
      @RobertsLondon  Před 8 lety

      Starbucks is the most commercially successful coffee chain the the world. Claiming they are not or sell un-drinkable products is retarded. I'am not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee but millions of people love the stuff. The reserve line is not a commercial failure as it restricts smaller roasters and stores access to the best coffee in the world at competitive prices.

    • @klarinetta
      @klarinetta Před 8 lety

      I've cupped coffees from the Reserve line and it was worse than some industrial coffees like Gevalia,Merrild and BKI. Over roasted and dirty tasting.

    • @klarinetta
      @klarinetta Před 8 lety

      And no wonder the success of Starbucks. It's so convenient,you just don't have to think about where to get your coffee because it's about everywhere. In New York I really had to look for good coffee and usually it's not on the main streets so you have to walk a bit to the sidewalks. And all these huge paper cups from Starbucks and all that waste is not cool.
      Also in London I had for example to walk a bit from Covent Garden to get to Leather Lane to get to Prufrock Coffee but it totally was worth it.
      But most people are just thinking about convenience when it comes to their cup of joe hence the success of Starbucks,Dunkin Donut and all the machines like Senseo,Nescafe Dolce Custo,Tassimo,Nespresso and you just name it but in my books my money is better spent elsewhere.

    • @RobertsLondon
      @RobertsLondon  Před 8 lety

      As I said Starbucks reserve line restricts smaller roasters and stores access to the best coffee in the world at competitive prices. Roasting it and selling it is just iceing on the cake for the accountants and marketing department as they dont have to explain its disappearance. That programme is win win for Starbucks - its ingenious business strategy even if it tastes like shit once their roasters ruin it.

    • @RobertsLondon
      @RobertsLondon  Před 8 lety +1

      Starbucks incredible success is not a wonder, it was and is very calculated. They focus on hospitality first, like the Coke slogan "taste the feeling". Every independent coffee store should stop dismissing them and start analysing every part of their retailing operation because with size comes compromise which can be beaten by being better especially if you have a better product. Workshop Fitzrovia which is next to a Starbucks has the same linear layout as a Starbucks - food, coffee bar, coffee products then seating - they have great service/hospitality & great coffee. Successes its not a magic formula, Workshop are able to stand on the shoulder of giants because they appreciate the giants strengths and weaknesses. As I said I'm not a fan of Starbucks myself, but like nespresso and stuff simply dismissing the biggest playes in any industry is retarded.
