Kids are stronger than we parents tend to think. Back in 1994, I took my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son up the SAME hike! You guys gave me a trip down memory lane! Like you and Meredith, I was quite surprised that we made it to the top (and back down)...with NO whining! 😂

I mean yeah sure he takes care of them at the clinic but they go there to heal up then someone else takes them so they're not there forever... I would probably adopt one or 2 but that's it too much dogs isn't always a good thing either

I've been to Enchanted Rock. It's one of my favorite memories from TX. I'm in PA now but I spent a large part of my childhood in TX. Longhorn Caverns was a lot of fun too.

What breed is Elmer? 2yrs ago someone dropped off a litter off these exact pups in our neighborhood we kept one(Zoey) and a friend took the rest. They are good dogs they act like a terrier cause Zoey would hunt small rodents. Unfortunately Zoe was hit buy a car before Christmas. They are such good dogs.

I’ve been to enchanted rock it is super cool and pretty. The long hike is worth the view at the end. It is very hard though. Especially at the top. It gets super steep. I tripped and almost fell I’m glad there was a rock I caught myself on. But anyway Matt I love you and your family and the little legless pooch. I wish my parents would lets us have more hay one dog.
