I like how both russian and american austronauts speak to each other in their own native language.
Alexey Trubchaninov if one is Russian and the other American what is their native language?
Americans speak Russian. Russians speak English
Alexey Trubchaninov U.S astronaut and every astronaut in general need to learn the language if they are goin up with different spoken language astronauts, so they can communicate and also so they can read the machine manual in another language
Alexey Trubchaninov aa
Spasiva
it is so great when russians and americans are doing mission together.
I wish the countries would always get along this well. Stop caring so much about getting ahead of everyone else or getting one over on their rival. They can do so much more good together
HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2022 IN COMMING I LOVE YOU ALL 2022 .
this is what it's like when two opposing counties hang out and there's no politicians around.
wonderland78 the truth is..people are more busy trying to survive....space travel is not what life is about however I do get that this is important for our long term survival.
That's the way it must be if we are going to leave this planet and travel the stars awesome time to be alive isn't it !
See you on mars
Science is best separated from politics.
@@dredon302 we have a better internet connection because of them, do ur research.
He seems disoriented .. Almost like he thinks he's dreaming and waiting to wake up to find himself in the ISS ... That is not an easy job.
Essam Kotb true. 😇
His muscles, bones and skin are reacting wildly to this "new" environment. The gravity is pulling back together his bones so he might have some pain for a while. He might throw up for a while.
But you do miss the ISS....you meet different kind of people from different countries all doing the same thing. The ISS feels like home.
@highwayvagrant1 theirs a documentary about it...
oh haha no, i mean like most astronauts always say that the ISS feels like home
Now *THAT’S* a long distance relationship...
11:48 *A small detail but if you see his hand when he lifts it up, it's almost like he forgot he needed to keep using force to keep it up* 😂😂
Eduardo Hinojosa hahaha nice one . i saw this also
I thought exactly the same!
Very observant! Thank you.
"Want a banana"?
"No, honey. I'll have a beer tho"
Haha best
13:12 He is home, but suddenly realises he isn't. Home for him is now 250 miles above his head...
Cainan Cornelius home is where he can relax in the pool with a beer
i dont belog here
"I wanted to do that for a whole year..... and now I realize I didn't." Powerful Moment.
That’s some powerful stuff
Having served and deployed a few times I relate to this on a spiritual level. You spend the whole time wanting to be home but once you are, you wish you weren't.
idk why but this made me cry
It’s just so beautiful
it's incredible!
Francisco Rosas lol but amagin his emotions,he basically traveled millions of miles in space and was up there doing his job and comes back and gets to relax
Why are you lying though?
its crazy, its like i could feel the emotions he was getting while being back at his house
The secrets that these guys know. Wow
Omario Jason's it's beautiful
everything is documented
Pack Of milk or is it -que the music-
Bet they know the earth isn’t flat.
@@heykeiffers6684 Or maybe they know it is :/
This makes countries look pretty insignificant doesn't it?
Agreed.
Imagine aaaalll the people...
+Yuri Sonuvavich "this makes conflicts between humanity feel pointless."
Then there is no such thing as "crime", since crime is merely a conflict, which you just said is pointless.
So there is no need for human law, either.
Eldarielpilingwaew yes *# makes the world look peaceful
Yes it does 😊
The beer and the pool, so simple but must have felt amazing
xspager n
and the first night after 1 year with the wife :)
I don’t have a pool :(
Next best is peeing :)
Yea Defo
No politics, no threats, no east vs. west. Just humans wishing the best for each other and achieving greatness together.
been without gravity for a year.. drink a bear and jump in the pool to get away from gravity again! haha
I love knowing we are in the beginning of space exploration.
I'm sorry to say we won't experience any space travels soon.
With all this war on earth all our money are beeing wasted on that instead of moving the civilization further in space :(
I can't see the truth?
The truth is that USA is spending over 1000% more money on war than on our future.
For example if Space programs have a budget of 40 billion dollars a year, then USA military have like 450 billion spent on bombs and tanks a year.
Also NASA is not the only space program on earth.
You have over hundreds of space programs with even smaller amount to research with.
This is not a lie, it is all based on facts.
Homosapiens live for war
Jonathan Leake well we already are almost a century ago
highwayvagrant1 you are on every video of NASA saying its fake. why don't you just stop watching and rather watch the video of your flat earthers or better yet why don't you become an astronaut and go to space??????? its will help you
highwayvagrant1 am not against freedom of speech but yours is becoming unbecoming. my question is why do you keep watching something you claim as fake? and ooh am a very Democratic person bye
You can easily tell that the man at 5:53 - 6:07 really LOVES his job :)
isnt nothing compare like saveing the man from space craft :) (is like u save the superman)
Such a welcoming presence
His happiness makes me happy
that guy is awesome in his own right; he traveled to space multiple times before getting older, I think he was the ground mission commander.
Funny how only one man on the welcome team makes that impression
Accurate representation of me waking up in the morning
Lol
I'm glad to see the astronaut has a lovely house to come home to.
When he falls in to the pool in his jump suit I teared up a little. Its the simple things in life we take for granted.
That was so amazing. I hope this gets an award. Great job TIME!
These guys look like hell when they get out of the capsule I can't imagine the feeling of gravity on them. Awsome video
@highwayvagrant1 why shouldnt gravity exist?
@highwayvagrant1 uuuuh, when you drop your phone, it falls down... thats gravity u know that? :D it can be measured, it has a symbol, unit and a formula...
@highwayvagrant1 if it has an effect then it exists, same as , for example, cancer...
@highwayvagrant1 righr, says the guy believing in chemtrails?
I'd be in tears.. My 4 year old loves anything with space. This vid came in. Maybe he will be an astronaut someday.
This is what the US and the world in general needs more of. Heroes doing the impossible and pushing the boundaries of what we think is possible.
Sassy Sasquatch Wow, you sure are sassy. If only you had a name to describe just how sassy you truly are to the United States and the world in general...
Ryan Hubbard oooo someone’s getting sensitive
we have Jake Paul we don't need anything else😒
@highwayvagrant1 keep holding on to your tin foil hat. We'll see how long you last until natural selection eats you up.
imagine the feeling being back in outer space, alieniated out there. and back with bazilion people praying your safety in control command, 4 fighter helicopter, dozens land vehicle, hundreds of loved one and you fucking did it.
imagine the feeling of accomplishment
I imagine their feeling of happiness knowing they won't have to use a vacuum system when going to the loo or the usage of diapers every time they had to go out from the space station.
M Satrio i know right
*Imagine Russia and America putting politics aside and working together to move the world forward.*
They looked grey
i think its because due to being so long in 0 gravity...it affects their heart...so when they land on earth heart had to fight gravity...and was probanly pumping less blood...which means lower blood pressure and bloody circulation...and thats how the reason for pale/gray face.
Adicka Adooki also normally on Earth your head is for 2/3 of the day on the highest position compared to where gravity is pulling. In space that of course isn't the case anymore. In space your head firstly becomes a bit bigger because blood goes there easier than normally. After a while it shrinks to normal again. Blood vessels adjust to this new 0 gravity situation. Back on Earth however they need to widen again and it takes time before you have the same amount of blood in your head again as usual

What?
the number of views ...only few cares about this story.. looks like not everybody seems interested to watch such kind of documentary. I was touched by the last part of this episode. Congrats to you Sir Kelly!
Because stupid people preferred to view stupid pranks instead of this. What a stupid people!
Desidedo Mohabal Jr. or there’s the CZcams algorithm. Idiot🤦🏾♂️🤦🏿♂️
I'm one of those people who cares! I've loved learn things about space since i was a kid
you can tell that he miss his life in space.
@highwayvagrant1 just stay silent little idiot.
@highwayvagrant1 please crawl back in your hole and never come back.

This series is so well done. I cannot praise it enough. Everything from the music, the editing, the interviews, the candid shots, and so much more it's just amazing. Great job TIME!
In my opinion astronauts are really heroes.
I can't believe we Americans didn't give them the welcome home shabang wat the heck. Well my mind is blown from how amazing the mission was and so glad they r back with their loved ones
I can't stop smiling. We are the space generation
Tears in both eyes. Hats off to all of you. Astronauts and ground crew members . Those are people we really need to respect. God bless you.
Probably the only good video that came to me from the "Recommended for you" videos. Had to watch the whole series because of this one segment. To anyone who hasn't seen the rest of the series, I highly recommend it. Highly underrated and one of the best series on CZcams in my opinion.
Bro .. this is a video if people knew about
Or just start watching you can’t look away .
Amazing
My tears just fell.
Great videos Scott. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful videos of Earth and ISS. I watched everyone one of them. You are my favourite Astronaut. ❤️🌎
*_I don't know what the reason actually make me crying over when they arrived to family their back..but I know this video really give impacts to my self..for someone like who doesn't like study hard or like science subject in schools I'm totally get more interest about space now..thank you Sir & well done_*
This is so touching, 😢....thank you for your sacrifices. It is so overwelming to see astronaut and comosnauts together working for the greater good. 🙌🏼👌🏼😘 so much love from the 🇵🇭
Thank you from the whole humanity for doing this for us for science to improve our lives on this beautiful planet 🌏
Not only do I appreciate but I feel Enlightenment and thankful for the three men the Russian an American just stay up there for a year and then the alignment that I felt to wear to see my brother's come back home is freaking awesome y'all got balls
Really well done, what a fantastic thing. I've had a small taste of what that's like to be re-introduced to a normal life and while it doesn't come anywhere near comparing to that, those emotions are still there.
thatmarriedguy same thing. I can say i know what its like returning to a normal life. The divorce is over, and now i shall move on.
you just compared divorce to being 1 year in space?
3:47 holy... that log book flying from the one side to the other in lightspeed
That’s honestly amazing, to leave earth for one year and come back must feel so unusual and such a relief. Truly an inspiring adventure!
After years and years of research to lead up to such moments..you just got to appreciate it man!
This is what we are made for, EXPLORING not quarreling
Wow so many emotions watching this series. Respect to the astronauts and Time for documenting it so beautifully, informatively, and heart-warmingly 👏🙏❤
Great to see such cooperation between nations.

It looked so refreshing watching fall in that pool....yup I'm going swimming tomorrow

Wow.. this is amazing. You never really think about what it would be like to live in a different environment. I’m it’s not an easy adjustment. I wish I was any good at math or science for this job
A big thanks and salute to these guys!
Wonderful experience
Understanding the value of small things
Thanks for sharing. You answered my many questions.
Una de las mejores series puedas en internet. Gracias Time por educarnos de esta manera.
Thank you for this amazing video
This is so beautiful nations together. Love and supporting each other is all that matters. Life ❤️
He almost seemed like, damn gravity!! Let me go back and float through the air,it was way more convenient!! Like when he jumped in the pool he seemed way more relaxed!!
Roald van Dijk yea the water must of felt great for him, being able to feel “floaty” again.
Great series! Very enjoyable!
Saw Scott Kelly speak live last Thursday and it was so exciting.
I find it hilarious that after a year in ISS, the first thing an astronaut will do is sit down at his table, mind probably blown. "This is crazy"
wahhh😭😊how it feels like to be back home for them after a year 😍so great of them
Good job everyone. Especially the brave men and women who go up there and sacrifice for all of us and the families that keep it together so the astronauts have strengths to pull from when it gets the hardest up there...
Great job Scott!
thank you soo much for this video. .
such a great documentary series!
i got emotional with this
Every single human should be sent into space for few month after graduating from school. Extremely valuable experience!!!
Great movie, well done!
Put together very very well. Awesome video
I salute them and their confidence
No politicians no dispute
That got me choked up for some reason
Wow...Thank you guys
Thank you, thank you so much for this great video! I've always wanted to see an astronaut when he arrives home for the first time and experiences all the little things.
Why am I crying?
speechless wow hands down my respect
Those trucks are incredible. 1:40
GOD Bless YOU sir From IRAQ now in Californian
This is the incredible thing I’ve ever seen❤️
Awesome 👏 and thank god they are safe and back at home!!! 🏡 San Antonio Texas !!!! 💕😎👍
I feel so emotional n kind of happiness..😢
I couldn't help but notice that he just jumped into a chlorine pool while wearing a $10,000 custom made space under suit.
I think by this stage he had well and truly ditched the under suit - he's just wearing a normal flight suit, the same as a airforce pilot might wear with a plain black tee underneath.
Lil Lil *FLAT EATHER*
-MEMES-
Actually pool was his cocaine at that moment. Imagine you living in no gravity for a year you become addicted to it.
Lil Lil true and why didn't he take it off he acted weird..apart from the gravity he looks weird
Yea not 10k at all. Thats a standard issue flight suit. Generally under $200
The quality of the editing of this is amazing
cried my eyes out...
This was one of the best things of seen on CZcams in a while
A very inspiring thing to watch
What an incredible job ..
