Rudy Gorbert got 100k for the money sign gesture. If they don't suspend Jamal then the fine has to be between 250k to 500K for all of the items he did. Malone should have been ejected.

FACTS
Rudy Gobert got a 100k fine for making the money sign at refs. That's the maximum fine. By their own precident they pretty much have to give him the maximum fine for that, but you can't let throwing stuff at a ref go unpunished so I think bare minimum he gets the 100k and one game.
Ironically Jamal Murray ALSO made the money sign at the refs last night too. So even without the heat pack he should be getting 100k
It happened mid play. You have to suspend him. He put other players at risk. A fan would have been thrown out and likely arrested for doing the same thing.

but the fact that Murray got no technicals, no ejection. That means he's received no punishment for it
so if Murray was ejected, then the league might be able to justify "well he received some punishment"
but they felt now the league has to suspend him, and I also heard someone else say Dedmon received a 1 game suspension for throwing something

As a life-long Cleveland Cavaliers fan, I will always hold Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson in high regard as both were part of the 2016 NBA Championship team. Allie was a sideline reporter for the Cavaliers and I miss seeing her report from the Cavs games. And JJ Redick is an intelligent, rising star as an NBA analyst after a wonderful college and pro career. I will be sure to catch more of these podcast episodes!

I think the speed the T Wolves were playing at had a big affect on Jokic. He looked sooo tired by midway through thr 2nd (i know, he always looks tired). But minny was pushing the ball in transition every play it felt like.

Do we all agree that Jamal would 100% gotten suspended if someone got injured. KAT was inches away from stepping on it and slipping. I dont think just because KAT got lucky that Murray should get away with no suspension. It was a very dangerous thing he did. Players are huge and generate a lot of power. Someone could easily get injured. Tweak something or pull something. That's why they constantly wipe the floor to prevent slips. He should get suspended, plain and simple. Just because it's in the playoffs shouldn't change that.

2 things NBA hate the most and will do anything they could to prevent as much as possible are: 1. Dynasty 2. series sweep. so Murray won't be suspended because they are down 0-2. if the other way around, then he will be suspended.
There's a reason why every NBA game has individuals who clean the floor of sweat on a continual basis - it gets genuinely slippery down there. To throw what he threw at the referees and then players - one false step and it could have been a disaster for either team. So yeah, a suspension and fine. I wouldn't give him more than one game but to be honest, one game may pretty well end the season for the Nuggets.

I think Jamal Murray is a more difficult guard actually than both booker and Durant. Not that he’s better then Durant but he moves off the ball a ton and he’s got a way better dribbling game than those guys. Way tougher to guard in a series possession by possession imo. Especially when u also consider he’s mostly running the 2 man game with Jokic.

He should be suspended it's absurd that a player would throw anything on the court. To excuse this is just the worst.
