Wonderful!! Sandy will never die!!
Bravo. This song is how I felt my soul was when I was 20 - even if the search to realise this put me off. There's a melancholy happiness in seeing other young people still moved by this song.
Beautiful. I find that of the covers this is the only one that comes close to the same emotions as the Fairport Convention original, and including the instrumental section is a great idea.
Beautiful. Gave me goosebumps.
Wow! Such a beautiful version of this song. Well done all. Love the vocal harmonies and great playing of the two guitars. Just lovely. Thanks.
Just beautiful. One of my favourite songs ever, thank you.
So beautifull that it brings a tear to my eye! I think you have captured something that even the original Fairport recording didn't have.
And so the torch is passed...Many thanks.
Nice. Having seen Sandy perform this live with Fairport, I think she, Richard and Swarb would have been pleased.
Beautifully performed.
What a blessing to hear.
Well done!!
You have healed me.
Total perfection
sehr schön
Fabulous cover ! New subscriber.
Beautiful.
This is really quite nice! Great harmonies and tasty slide guitar action! I’ve performed on three entirely different arrangements of this song, keeping it fresh in my repertoire.
Very nicely done guys. btw Richard Thompson only wrote the lyrics--the melody is the traditional ballad ''Willy O
Winsbury'', which Pentangle did a nice version of.
avast pedant, enjoy the rendition.
This is magic.
Excellent - what a compelling Americana quartet they would make.
Lembrou Sandy Denny no Fairport Convetion, espetacular
Fantastic!
