Seeing Bryan care for quagmire and quagmire have empathy for Brian’s for sacrificing he’s life is those little moments I do hope they finally become friends
Quagmire only hates brian cause he tries to act like he’s perfect since brian tried to get on quagmires good side and it sickens quagmire to what he does to peter and to know that brian can’t let one person hate him he also hates on how brian keeps trash talking peter and tries to sleep with lois
For Family Guy this episode was surprisingly touching. No OTT violence. Both Meg and the Cats got a good ending. Though..... can't really say the same for Brian but eh had to throw something weird in somewhere :D
@@rexstocephirxiii4263 Exactly. When Brian confronted the Cat Army it was nowhere near as violent as Family Guy can be and was pretty creative with the cat toys being used as improvised weapons. In fact no one died during that as all the cats were fine after. Compare that to Chris and Meg vs the School in that scene referencing Kingsman and that sums it up.
"I have nothing" Doesn't he have two moms that hes has a semi-functioning relationship with, a sister who always looked out for him, and a deaf brother?
He loves his sister and cares for her as seen in season 12, where he writes a heartbreaking letter during their intervening. And protects her from her abusive boyfriend.
One of the better modern episodes. Good jokes, nothing over the top, an entertaining fight scene between Brian and the cats without it being brutal. The ending was good to. This season had some solid episodes and jokes from what I've personally seen this season
You know megs cat could've been an interesting addition to the show. Largely giving the I don't give a f@$k attitude to every now and then a fine I'll help you out just because, also she would start a chain of events either inadvertent or deliberately.
That's what I've been saying and considering they have actually been trying these last 2 seasons to be funny and have genuine story's it would be a good marker for a new and improved Era of family guy
This show is infinitely better when the characters are actually *doing* things with each other as opposed to just being jackasses all the time. Also Brian and Quagmire evolving into friendly rivals is what the show has needed this entire time considering they've both been playing the straight man to Peter for ages.
I’d actually love for Meg to have a talking cat that cares about, her and helps her get into schemes or something. I feel like Meg needs something to make her more interesting in the family and for her episodes without having to give Meg a brand new talent. Leave Chris to the high-school plots now. I feel like there’s a lot of duos on this show. Peter/Lois, Stewie/Brian, Meg and a cat would be a pretty awesome addition.
I really feel they should lean into the atoner aspect of Quagmire. We’ve seen hints of it with this and with the cat cafe thing. I’d love to see the series tackle the idea of him working to better himself.
Honestly this was an amazing character arc for quagmire, considering some time ago he was about to be considered a child molestor for Meg. Now he completely changed and decided to give his life for her. If only it would stay tho
Wow.... Brian actually cared about Quagmire (I HATE writting his name so much) and he actually try so save meg....this are seasons for redemption or what?
You have a family and a dog that care about you. Uh, wasn't the entire point of her having a cat based on the point of her family hating her and Brian NEVER being there when she needed him? I mean like twice Brian tried to help her but it ended up with him getting abducted by her and nearly rapped. Say what you want about the episode but the idea that her family cares for her is as false as the earth being flat. Brian cares more for her but it isn't by much so her becoming a cat lady would have been more suitable in the long run for her.
Quagmire is the only character that is actually moral. He is always up front about his sexual deeds, and he's not a f*ckin phony like some other characters
Kinda ironic. At first, I liked Brian: the straight man who called out stupidity and attempted damage control when needed. I hated Quagmire: the morales rapist who never thought with his head. Now it's reversed. I hate Brian: the holier than thou douche who puts himself up on a pedestal while trying to make others look worse than him for his own ego. I like Quagmire: the guy who knows he's scum and is okay with it, but doesn't want to see others mess up their lives and helps them out of their messes. Became one of the rare the dimensional characters on the show. When Peter isn't around of course. Always those exceptions. Over all: complete role swap. It's interesting to take note if things like that. I'd gladly debate it if anyone wants to. Could help any aspiring writers to do so. (It's me. I want the help. Lol.)
@@lynn740 i dont see the current Brian like that I kinda just see a depressed guy who just wants to leave some good mark on earth before his short time on earth ends, in some episodes in the last few seasons we've really gotten that side to him more, like that episode where it was revealed that Brian actually hated himself when he had that robot, and then in S19 I've seen more and more evidence of him trying to be a better person, sure his character is still kinda inconsistent cause the writers and such, but idk I like to think that they have an idea set for Brian or something, as his ever-changing character has probably interested me the most about this show as times, barring S12 or 13 of course, fuck Brian in those seasons
Family Guy seems obsessed with cats lately. We had an episode where Quagmire opens a bar with cats, one where Brian acts like a cat and now one where Meg adopts a stray cat. Why don't just have the family own a cat as a recurring character at this point? Lol
Meg! You hold a grim destiny in your hands, sister. But it is not your own. The cats' meows sealed my fate. The world of those with a life can no longer comfort me. Tell them only that the cat lady is dead, and that Glenn Quagmire died with her. Now, go! Leave this place, and never return! There must always be a Cat King...
Quagmire may be a creep, but he seems to be the only one who genuinely cares for Meg.
Didn't Brian just get his ass kicked trying to rescue her?
Well he did try to sleep with her after she turned 18
This is some quality debate right here
Didn't he try sleeping with her the moment she turned legal?
Pretty sure Brian just risked his life for her while Peter just sat and watched TV. 😂
Seeing Bryan care for quagmire and quagmire have empathy for Brian’s for sacrificing he’s life is those little moments I do hope they finally become friends
@Jason Allen it took a million character arcs, but we’re finally getting growth

It will take time, but yes, they will one day.
He can sing. He loves animal. His singing attracts animal. So Quagmire is a Disney Princess?
He very well could be. Brian was the one to say they were owned by Disney so…..
If the Xenomorph Mother can be one, I don't see why not.
@Rose's Zen Garden His first name is Glenn
Who else but Quagmire
Is he saved by a handsome prince tho
Honestly Quagmire and Brian are the only characters that i know that actually care about Meg from time to time.
Stewie too mostly
Joe and Cleveland too.

Tell them cats are dead, and quagmire died with them.
Now, leave and never return.
