- Live Copenhagen 6th May 2006 :
I taped this video in Copenhagen, first Radiohead gig of 2006. This show was their first time playing "15 step"! (one year before the announcement of In Rainbows)
Video was recorded with an Canon IXUS 40 (small camera that can record 640x480 videos, 30fps). The sound was really poor so I mixed my video with a better sound recording. - Hudba
The most amazing thing is that the crowd is claping in time even though is was the first performance of 15 step....ever! I think that Ed was making signs with his arms to help the crowd to get the rythm...
listen to this song a few times every single day.
again the best version of this song
And FTB?
wow, this song is so freaking amazing played live. Hope this guys go in tour next year.8D
wow. 15 step's debut! and the audience has the clapping nailed. sweet!
Beautiful quality-thanks so much for posting> I love the way he dances - he's having fun with it and just being Thom Yorke. Awesome!
The Bass and the drumming make this awesome !!
I don't even know what I'd do if I got a seat this close to the stage. Brilliant. And the decision to play at the Grammy's w/ USC was inspired.
Radiohead is just fantastic. When the bassist messed up you could barley tell and thom handled it beautifully by pointing to him when he should come back in.
cheers! it is good to be alive!!! especially to see them in concert someday, and say we saw them!!!
One of the coolest Radiohead bass parts at the last half of this song.
I love his dancing, completely careless and worry-free.
Exactly...that is awesome! I love Thom and all his mannarisms...
I love how he can Jirate on stage like a fool and its just an amazing feel and you just gt love it
i love the guitar sound of this song...
BEST song on the new album. Brilliant again as usual.
I feel like dancing like him infront of the world, everytime i listen to this song. the fuckin guitar riff is so fuckin amazing.
lol i love how he whips out the tamborine at the end
Hahahahaah! The Penguin Dance!
Awesome performance.
Thanks, happy to share this with you guys :)
i love the little freek
excellent song
and thats the way to dance to it :D
It's funny to notice the small differences between the song in this performance and in the album... the clapping pattern was different, the note in 1:43 didn't move up a tone as in the album, not to mention the different lyrics. Funny that Ed's effect didn't work at first... Check out Colin and Thom's worried faces at 2:19.
2:10 - What a move!
total bug genius! luv it!
hasta para bailar es un genio!!
Man, to have accomplished so much that you can just flip around like a spastic sardine and not give a fuck. True success and freedom.
haha, nice dance at "15 steps..." Thom.
that man has the sexiest moves I've EVER SEEN :D
what a great live video
good job gnuguitoutoutousiots
lmfao at the dancing. hilarious.
best bend ever
thx for share it
i think 2:10 was the best thing i have seen in my life.
Has anyone noticed that the lyrics seem to be different in this performance than they are on the album?
Damn, this song got a great response from the get-go.
you could say the guitar melody follows that sig, however the drums are strictly 5/4 and thats what you measure proper time sig in, the rhythm, which is measured using the drums in this instance.
Hahaha, I love the way thom dances.
Dance Thom Dance!
Go Thom it's yo' birthday!
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW RADIOHEAD LIVE
dude, you had the best seat in that place. i mean look at the angle
was ed late on his synth cue at the end, or was it just a technical malfunction?
fy faen så heldig du er som har opplevd dette
Just got back from the show tonight. It's official, American's can not clap in beat. I want to go to a show abroad pretty badly now.
bravo :)
I love this video I watch it alot, check out the Fish Wiggle Thom drops at 2:10, they mess up twice but that only makes it that much better!!
thom was waiting for pleople to say " yohaaaaaa" thats why he danced like that hahaha so funny
Noone can dance like thom ;)
That was Colin, the bassist, and that was funny.
the song is actually written in 10/8
Te AMO LOKILLO
este video es de copenhage?
this fucking rocks
Sing in Tune please Mr Yorke we all know you can...
Your Brother is in a good mood because he is your brother.
I'm wishing they come to Portugal. You're invited. :P
fuckin good song
Hold on...I have a problem w what u just said, I'm in the US and I "get it" like you said. But, surely you know that Radiohead is Brittish?! So...what kind of sense does your statement mean? Some of the best music EVER was from across the pond...and believe me, they get it over there. Please explain.
that is some mental fucking dancing. they should put him on strictly come dancing, he'd win hands down.
thom ya saco su propio estilo de bailar XD!!!
why is it 5/4? I'm a drummer and play this song al the time, and if I would count it out it's 5/8, because the drums are really one beat in 5 eigth notes, which is repeated all the time(with some variations). The only track I could think of in 5/4 are the vocals, but it seems to me like they are spread over 2 bars. But well, not that important actually:P
He does tend to err off key here and there but you must realize it's all part of the honesty of the performance. He sings like he means it
gnuguitou, you are one lucky person, so f-ing close
haha, he acts on stage just like me. That's awesome. He earned it though.
Becouse thats how god dance thom york is only showing to all of us
Sounds like 10/16 to me.
LOL at Thom's white boy dance
sounded a little different in indy
@xM4JoRx what the fuck yes it is?
Poor Colin haha
Lol, because it's in 5/8 xD not everybody's able to time that:P
dude they don't do drugs..
no espero a que salga el disco
technical malfunction
I now understand that you like only commercial music, don't you?
there is absolutely no such thing as a 15th note. trust me, i'm a music major. it's not possible to play a 15th note--there are whole, half, quarter, eighth, 16th, 32nd, and so on.
As much as I love this album and this song, I have to say he's dancing like Martin Short portraying Ed Grimley. :)
Grow up.
ouch. Someone doesn't understand humor . . . especially directed at one's own country.
