when parents get older and they see their offsprings generation doing better or successful its better for their health to "retire" in a sense and just help out. it keeps them busy while not keeping them "stagnant" at home. esp for folks who own restaurants. restaurants are full time mentally physicality and mentally taxing.

A better idea might have been to have several plain cakes made and invite several of his friends to come and decorate their own cakes (and learn a tip or two from Buddy if they want, but let them have control). Now that would be some party favor to take home! They will realize what an honor that was when they're older... :}

I’ve heard the quality of their food has gone way down the past few years. All of these cakes and cupcakes look dry. It’s sad that these are mostly for show and pizazz. Granted I would eat the hell out of all of these, but for how good their bakery used to be in flavor and quality (so I’ve been told by 20-25 individuals) to where it is now is upsetting.

when I was 15, I went to NY (instead of having a quinceañera) and I had a Chocolate cake from there, it was AMAZING, NY really does have some of the best food places EVER! I’m 20 now so I dont know how it is now but it used to be delicious
